The Harvest Is Nigh

All things that seem impossible in this life are indeed possible for God! Often, when we are in the midst of a situation, it can look as though the problem is insurmountable. Our earthly surroundings dictate this to us on many levels. Nature itself is a good example of how sometimes we may see only weeds growing in the ground, but then, all of a sudden, as if by faith, new life bursts forth, producing much fruit for the harvest!

Your time will come, all of you, when you see your ‘misfortune’ turn to blessing. Suddenly, it will come upon you and you won’t know what hit you. You may be thinking, ‘Oh but I’ve been waiting years for this or that!’ Suddenly, the time has come. You will look and find that all your work, that is your faith with actions, have all blossomed into the abundant harvest you’ve been praying for! Revelation 14:15 KJV “And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”

His great seal of approval is upon you and your family. You have done well in that all fear has been conquered within you, and you have taken the steps that the Lord has issued you. You have shown excellence in that you have endured ‘patient suffering’, while you’ve been longing for results. Revelation 14:12 KJV “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

Finally, you have been set free! You have learned to give in and not give up. Given in that is, to the Lord’s Will for you in your life. You have come thus far on the journey that you’ve learned to surrender, and to trust completely in His plan. You have died to ‘self.’ Revelation 14:13 KJV “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them!

Read this again my friends! “That they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them!” This is the reward of your faith, patience and trust! Hallelujah! This is the reward of your peace during the storms! Praise God! Philippians 4:7 KJV “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” And last but not least, this is the reward of surrendering to the Lord and ‘allowing Him’ to make your paths straight! This is when the Lord will say to you, “Well done, my good and faithful servants!” God bless you and your families and may the joy of the Lord be ‘your’ strength! Amen.

Matthew 25:21 KJV “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always, have gifted me with these words for you. Amen.

Washed By The Blood Of Jesus

In times of trouble, it is very easy to allow yourself to become acquainted with sin. Trouble and sin go hand in hand. It is at these times, that we can if we are not careful, succumb to temptation. We can however, beat temptation by claiming our God-given birthright, that we are washed by the blood of Jesus.

It is written John 8:1-12 NKJV “But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. Now early in the morning He came again into the temple, and all the people came to Him; and He sat down and taught them. Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, ‘Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say? This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, ‘He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.’ And again, He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it being convicted by their conscience went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, ‘Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?’ She said ‘No one, Lord.’ And Jesus said to her, ‘Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.’ Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

He carries away our sin and leaves it there at the foot of the cross. Yes that’s right! He that died for us at Calvary, has removed our sin so that we may appear blameless before God. He that intercedes on our behalf, presents us to our heavenly Father as free from the burden of sin. Hallelujah! Romans 8:1-3 NKJV “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh.

This is why we must relinquish our ways and live according to God’s Will for us. We must try at all times to maintain a sense of integrity to His mastership over us. Yes it’s true, He has given us a free will to use, and with this we must be truly careful. Many a soul has been damaged by too much liberal use of their freedom!

At times, the misuse of this free gift that has been given us, has led many into the hands of the enemy. Satan is waiting for each one of us to ‘slip up’ and give in to the many temptations that are around us. One only has to look in the cities around the world to discover how this happens. By virtue of a broken heart, these people have turned to drugs and alcohol as a means of escape, and have even ended up involved in crime, gambling and prostitution. Pornography is another.

God knows why this happens. He knows their hearts. And He is waiting for them to cry out to Him for help! 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Repentance. There’s that word again, so often misunderstood. God has given us the gift of repentance. When we repent, God is able to help us to undo any mess we may be in. It allows Him to alter the direction of our paths and our entire lives. So many of us are being affected by ‘unrepented sin’. None of us is free of sin. It can affect us on a daily basis. Even our thinking patterns can put us in direct contact with sin. But when we repent, this declares to the Heavens that we are sorry and that we intend to accept correction in the matter. So with that being said, please accept this wonderful and very gracious gift that we have been given and use it! Try it and see! You will be amazed by what happens next! This I promise you! Amen.

PS Revelation 3:18-22 NKJV “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.” Amen

All glory goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, whom I believe as always have instructed me with these words today. Amen.

Prosperity Thinking

n order to grow in the area of finance, we must look to the Bible for the truth. There are many texts that discuss the principles of abundance and prosperity in the Bible. The first thing we must remember though is that it should be our number one priority to serve in God’s Kingdom. If we make that our goal, then we shall be looked after in the area of wealth too. Matthew 6:33 “Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.”

There are many ways in which to increase your wealth. The ways that I am referring to are the worldly ways. There are many ‘get rich quick schemes’ out there, as there are the more conservative ways like saving, investing and so on. However, with God in charge of our increase, we will come to experience much more wealth and abundance than is humanly possible. Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”

Our finances are subject to the Lord. He will decide if and when we will be able to enjoy riches during our ‘stay’ here. We need to be grateful for what we already have, and even for the small things, as this will open the floodgates of God’s great big storehouse of blessings. Psalm 35:27 NKJV ‘Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favour my righteous cause; And let them say continually, “Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

The truth is He will reward you according to your level of faith, and also for your obedience to Him. When we live according to His will, this sets in motion all the great many plans He wants to fulfil for us. When we disregard His ways, He is unable to grant us all of our rewards and blessings. Like when a parent says ‘no television until you do your homework or chores!’ Psalm 128:1-2 TNIV “Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”

There is much reward and favour shown to those who wait and hope in the Lord, whilst living lives that set the example of how one should live and act within the Body of Christ. When we are obedient to His laws and commands, His promise is that we may live in abundance and prosperity. Deuteronomy 28:1, 11 TNIV “If you fully obey the LORD your God, and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.....The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity.” So let us be the example that the Lord wants us to be, so that when we come before Him with our prayers and request, we shall be in perfect alignment to receive His favour and blessings upon us and our families! In Jesus name. Amen.

PS Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV “BLESSED is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water. That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” May you all be shown the path according to His perfect will for you that you may succeed and prosper in all you do.” In Jesus name. Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe as always have guided me with these words here today. Amen.

Faith Knoweth No Bounds

Faith brings with it many challenges. Challenges we must try to overcome. If we want to live the ‘life extraordinary’, then we must refuse to give in. We must walk the tightrope to life. That includes never relying solely on your own judgement – it means having to take a stand against the Devil.

Faith is a lesson we all must learn. With it comes many a blessing of the supernatural variety! God’s plan is to conquer fear in His servants. With God’s perfect love and grace in our lives, fear gives way to love. 1 John 4:18 NKJV “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.”

The reality is we are going to be tested. If we are going to succeed in this world, we need to have faith. Not just any old faith, but faith that God’s love can move mountains. 1 Peter 6:7 NKJV “In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

As His servants, we will become trained in the area of faith. This will ensure that we are able to stand up to many trials that we must undergo. Once we become quite familiar in the ways of faith, we shall see many miracles come to pass. Life will never be the same again. We will be well-equipped to enable the Lord to work great wonders through us in our lives and in the lives of our families too.

When we believe for the impossible, this opens the gateway for the Lord to reveal to us His wonderful gifts that He has hidden from view. Much can and will be accomplished once we become sturdy in our belief and trust. It has been said that many an obstacle will be overcome once we become strong in our faith. Luke 17:5-6 NKJV ‘And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.’

With many challenges overcome, you will look forward to a bright new life. You will then see much improvement in your standard of living. The darkness is behind you with many opportunities for advancement coming your way. You will grow in your relationship with Jesus and will experience more and more joy in your days. Psalm 16:11 NKJV “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Let no-one deceive you into thinking that you must rely on your own human efforts to get anywhere in this world. No my friends. That is not how it happens! I can guarantee you that once you have mastered this new level of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, that you will be blessed beyond all capacity to understand! This I know to be true because the Lord has done it for me. God bless you, in Jesus name. Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe blessed me with these words herein.

PS May the Lord be with you all and keep you and your families in these times of trials and sufferings, and may you all appear blameless before Him so that you may receive His perfect blessings and miracles in your lives. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV “Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” Amen.
