The Power Plug!

Buckle up! For the glory of the Lord is upon you! Oh Lord God Almighty, you are the one who is able to set the captives free! You unchain the prisoners and open the gates for them! You break the yokes of oppression in those who truly love you! Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ who is holy upon Mount Zion forever! Praise to the King! Let Him rule and reign in our hearts forevermore! Amen. Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”

For these are the times we have been waiting for! The Lord God your King has come to set you free! He will deliver you from all the evils that have been affecting you in your life, and He will make the way clear for you. He has come that we may have life abundantly! He will restore to you the long lost dreams you have forgotten about. He will restore honour to you in your homes and in the land! He is the King of all kings – Hallelujah! Isaiah 61:6-7 NKJV “But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” Amen!

Please know, trust and understand that the Lord your God is on your side. He is leading you and guiding you around all the obstacles that have been for so long blocking your path. He is with you when you eat! He is with you when you sleep! He is on the job for you 24 hours and day and then some! He is with you now, holding you firmly by the shoulders, keeping you upright, and He will never, ever, and I say never, ever, and again, never, ever let you go! GOD LOVES YOU! May peace, love and understanding be yours now, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

PS Plug into Jesus, because He is the light of the world! He will light up your path and indeed your whole life! Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” AMEN!

All glory as always for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Blessed Are the Pure In Heart

To be blessed means to receive God’s favour upon any situations in your life. When we walk in harmony with what God wants for us, that is, according to His will, we shall see Him at work for us in the many different aspects of our lives. Matthew 5:8 NKJV “Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.”

We must begin by purifying ourselves and our hearts of anything unclean, including and especially in our thoughts; as our thoughts tend to dictate what comes out of our mouths. Matthew 15:18 NKJV “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.”

It is written in Proverbs 14:14 NKJV “The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, But a good man will be satisfied from above.” From our hearts also come our intentions and motives and if we continue to operate from a perspective of anything unclean or impure, then God cannot and will not bless our actions. Psalm 19:14 NKJV “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, my strength and my Redeemer.”

If you wish to have the life of your dreams, and to see the many plans that God has for you being fulfilled in your life, then you must continue to work hard at maintaining a purified heart. We must be diligent and continually monitor what is in our hearts. Be not afraid! God wants to bless you! Ask God to help you to overcome any obstacles. He will lead and guide you in His ways of righteousness. Psalm 51:10 NKJV “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

God’s plan for you is for you to prosper! He wants you to succeed in all areas of your life! Ensure that everything that is unworthy, or unfit for those who belong to God’s Kingdom is removed from your hearts and minds, and replaced with love and the honest desire to serve the Lord God Almighty, and you will soon see an outpouring of blessings upon you and your family, and your life will be transformed beyond anything you could ever imagine! Psalm 139:23-24 NKJV “Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.” Glory to God!

PS 1 Timothy 6:11-16 “But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate, that you keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ’s appearing, which He will manifest in His own time, He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.”

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Courage by God!

He will fight for you! God gives us the courage to stand and fight for our rights as His children. He will win every battle for you because He loves you. He is faithful and true, and can be relied upon in any circumstance. Hebrews 10:23 NKJV “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

We are strong in Him. He gives us the courage and the stamina to endure what must be endured, and to overcome every trial known to man. He is the one who will save you from the pits of despair; from every disease and sickness, as long as your walk is with Him. Psalm 103:1-5 NKJV “BLESS the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagles.”

Every battle belongs to the Lord. He is fighting for you on your behalf.1 Samuel 17:47 NKJV “Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the LORD’S, and He will give you into our hands.”Our fight is not with the people we love, nor is it with your employer, nor is it with the taxi driver, or the pizza delivery man, or even the dentist. No! It is with the powers of darkness. Ephesians 6:12 NKJV “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

God provides us with the strength and the endurance necessary to win this race. All we need to do is to trust Him that all is taken care of for each part of the journey. He will equip you beforehand with all the necessary ingredients you need in order to cross that finish line. We must however take the first step, and walk in it. We must take one step at a time. Psalm 40:1-3 NKJV “I WAITED patiently for the LORD; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth – Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the LORD.”

As we step out in faith, God will provide us with what we need for the next part of the journey, and so on, and so on. He has already prepared the way for us. We just need to get over our fears, and continue hand in hand with Him. He will get you through the toughest of trials. He will lift you up lest you dash your foot against a stone. Psalm 91:9-12 NKJV “Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.” Amen!

PS Jude 1:24-25 NKJV “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To God our Savior, Who alone is wise, Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power, Both now and forever. Amen.

All glory for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Power of Prayer

Where 2 or more stand in agreement on anything that they so desire, I will make it happen for them. They must be of one accord, in order that My perfect will can be done through them. Together, and in My name, they shall make their prayer requests known and I shall deliver it to them from the wings of Heaven, just as promised. It is written, Matthew 18:19-20 NKJV “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

The Bible says that whatever we ask for in Jesus name shall be given to us. John 14:13 -14 NKJV “And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.” Be sure to ask because if we don’t ask for what we want, things tend to happen by default, and we may then miss out on what we want.

Of course, we must ask according to God’s will for us, and not according to lusts and desires of the flesh that do not line up with what God wants for us. James 4:1-3 NKJV “Where do wars and fights come from among you? Do they not come from your desires for pleasure that war in your members? You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”

So what if we don’t know exactly how or what to pray for, so that we are in line with God’s will? Jesus tells us how to pray. Matthew 6:9-13 NKJV “In this manner, therefore pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and
the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

The Bible also tells us that we should pray without ceasing, having all the faith that whatever we ask for shall be given to us, and we are to give thanks and be content in our current situations. This way, when the Father sees your heart, that you appreciate all He has given you already, He will reward you accordingly. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NKJV “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

God knows what we need before we even ask Him. All we need to do is ask, and to have the faith that whatever we ask for in faith, will be given to us. God loves you, and this is His will for you. 1 John 5:15 NKJV “And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”

PS Matthew 6:5-8 NKJV “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.” Amen!

All glory as always for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Season's of Joy

There will come a time in your life where you will look around and be happy with all that you have, and with all that surrounds you. You will have reached a plateau in your path, and you will be able to stop and just enjoy the scenery for a while.

It is a time of much joy for you; a time where you have reaped what you have sown. There is a season for everything, and this is a time of reflection and inner peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.”

If you have followed God’s will for your life, then you will be at a place where you can relax and enjoy the day, simply enjoying what God has prepared for you. He has made the way for you – now it is up to you to bask in it, giving thanks for each opportunity He has given you. Psalm 118:24 NKJV “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

It is now time for you to enjoy the harvest from the seeds you planted previously. The type of seeds you planted will determine what you will now experience from the harvest. The good news is, if you planted love, then that love will come back to you, and you will experience the blessings that love brings! It may not be from the source you expected; nonetheless it will now come back to you – paid in full! James 3:18 NKJV “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

Sometimes we may plant seeds of love in very dark places, and it may take a very long time before you reap a harvest from those seeds. But rest assured, you will receive back what you have given out, and you may be surprised to see where that love comes from! God is in charge of those details, and it is up to us to simply plant the seeds. 1 Corinthians 3:5-8 NKJV “Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.”

Therefore, we must be very careful what seeds we plant, for there will come a time in our lives where we experience the fruits of our labours, either to our greatest joy, or to our dismay. God’s will for you is that you produce good fruits! He wants you to prosper in your life and be successful in carrying out His will. Proverbs 12:12-14 NKJV “The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, But the righteous will come through trouble. A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.” Amen.

PS Isaiah 40:10 NKJV “Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Lamb of God

God is the ruler of our hearts. He knows what is in our hearts and minds. There is no hiding anything from Him. He knows the true you, and He knows what your capabilities are. He designed you with certain plans in place for your life. He designed you with a greater destiny. Phil 1:6 AMP “And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you.”

God gives you the desires in your hearts to achieve certain things. He puts those yearnings right there within you, so that you recognise the path He is leading you on. If you let Him, He will lead you to much greater heights than you could ever achieve on your own. Proverbs 16:3 NKJV “Commit your works to the LORD, And your thoughts will be established.”

When He is leading you, you will find that your life runs very smoothly. Things just seem to fall into place. Isaiah 26:7 “LORD, you make the path smooth for good people, the road they travel is level.”

If you are not following His will for you, you will find that you are unable to stay on the current path you are taking. A sure sign of the wrong path is when things become very unstable around you and nothing seems to work. You keep running into blockages everywhere. This is when you must withdraw for a while, asking the Lord which direction to take. Psalm 73:23-24 NKJV “Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand, You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.”

It is good practice to ask the Lord which direction He would have you take, when you are confronted with any new course of action. This will enable you to receive instruction from the Lord. We are given much freedom in our day to day choices and decisions with so many options confronting us on a daily basis, we must be able to find the right way that pleases God. Proverbs 19:21 NKJV “There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’S counsel – that will stand.”

There is no need to fear with God on our side. He will lead you and guide you around the many obstacles that can appear on your pathway. As long as we seek Him and His righteousness, then everything we need will be given to us. Matthew 6:33 NKJV “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Amen.

PS Psalm 25:8-10 NKJV “Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He teaches sinners in the way. The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, To such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.” Amen.

All glory for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The House of God

Worship the Lord God Almighty! That is the call being placed in the hearts of many around the globe. It is time that we put the Lord’s will before our own. It’s time that we offer Him high praise! This is the requirement for those who are called to this path. Isaiah 57:15 NKJV “For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

God is calling you into fellowship with Him. He wants you to be ready, willing and able to hear His voice. He wants you to spend time daily where possible, reading His word and listening to His spirit.

The spirit of God speaks to us in our hearts. It’s like a gentle whisper calling our name. He is there for those that truly seek Him, listening to the prayers of the righteous. 1 Peter 3:12 NKJV “For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers.”

The Lord loves the humble in heart. He is attentive to their prayers, and He raises them up. 1 Peter 5:5-7 NKJV “Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for ‘God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.’ Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

The Lord is a God of compassion. He will meet your every need. When you put your trust in Him, you will be rewarded many times over. Lamentation 3:22-24 NKJV “Through the LORD’S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. ‘The LORD is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘Therefore I hope in Him!’”

The Lord also loves a happy heart. He asks us to always be thankful in all circumstances in fact, He says that it is His will for us. 1Thessalonians 5:16-19 NKJV “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” When we give thanks to Him in each and every circumstance, we learn to be grateful for our lives, no matter what is going on. Then the Lord is able to bless us with even more!

Proverbs 15:15 NKJV “But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.” We must rejoice in the Lord and praise Him, showing Him our gratitude in everything we do! When we are rejoicing, it is pretty hard not to have a happy heart! God wants us to enjoy our lives and be happy! He wants His children to live life to the full! Jesus died so that we could experience the freedom to live life abundantly and to enjoy the freedom of knowing that all of our needs are met.

John 10:10 NKJV “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

PS Psalm 145:14 NKJV “The LORD upholds all who fall, And raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look expectantly to You, And You give them their food in due season. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Transformed By The Light!

God has a way of transforming us into the individuals that He planned for us before we were born. He knew us and set us apart before we were formed in our mother’s womb. Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you to be a prophet to the nations.”
God has a plan for our lives. It may not become apparent until much later when we become more mature in the word. For some, it may happen in their teens, but not so for others. It may take a little time before you start to discover who you are on God’s team.

The important thing to remember is that the timing belongs to God. He has a way of transforming us from the inside. We are led in certain directions so that we may first prosper in a particular area of our lives, thereby strengthening us and building us up in that area first, so that we can be moved onto the next agenda in due course.

If we try to push things too soon, we run the risk of failing. We must let God build everything on solid foundations. Psalm 127:1 NKJV “Unless the LORD builds the house,They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep.”

God may lead you down a particular path, in order that you may gain the valuable experience necessary for your journey. Sometimes we may not understand the whys and the wherefores; however, we must learn to trust that God Almighty has His purpose in your life. There is a time and a season for everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.”

We may never understand God’s intricate plan in our lives. Even when we have the gift of hindsight, there are many reasons that we must undergo certain trials and testings. We do know however that in all things God works for our good. Romans 8:28-30 NKJV “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these he also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.”

If we are patient however, we will come to see much reward for our labours. There is much reward coming to those who follow the way of the Lord. He is the way, the truth and the life, and if you will allow Him He will shine the way forward for you so that your life may be a blessing to others, thereby glorifying God the Father in Heaven. John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Amen.

PS Ecclesiastes 3:11 NKJV “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.”

All glory as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

All Things Are Possible

God says, yes indeed, all things are possible. We only have to have faith for this to be true. At times it seems as though there is nothing you can do to help a particular situation, and yet, there is the sense that once God gets involved, our entire lives can be transformed.

God is indeed sovereign in our lives. He is the one who can make all your dreams come true. Turn your life over to Him now and watch it grow and grow into a brilliant masterpiece!

When we seek God in all things, something wonderful begins to occur. He begins to take you on a journey. It’s a journey of challenges, but the road ahead of you is bright with the light of the Lord. He leads the way to truth, possibility and understanding. Life’s mysteries begin unfolding all around you, and you come to a place where you are given much guidance and relevant information for your life.

You soon begin to prosper. Prospering in the small things at first and then leading on to the bigger things. Daily chores begin to take on new meaning, since everything you do, is done for the Lord. You begin to shine in dark places, becoming a light for your household. Matthew 5:14 NKJV “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Your life’s purpose starts to take shape. Things that you never dreamed possible become glorious possibilities now! New talents are unleashed in you as you forge ahead in your new role. Things that you never even knew about yourself are discovered, and new capabilities become apparent.

God equips us with certain gifts that we are to use when serving our Lord. Different gifts for different people, all according to God’s special purpose and design for your life. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 NKJV “There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.”

PS We are all unique members in the one body, that is the Body of Christ, so let us all receive our gifting that the Father has chosen and set apart for us in this life, in order to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Power Of Love

God is love. He shares His love with us every day. Many of the things we see around us are expressions of that love. We only need to look outside in nature to see that love unfolding every minute of every day. Every intricate detail has been taken care of, for the plants and the animals too.

Each facet of nature has its own very important role. It plays its own part so that everything can come together to form the perfect tapestry. Even something seemingly minute and insignificant is equally important in its function so that everything remains in perfect balance.

Life for us humans is like that too. No matter how seemingly insignificant our role is, it is still precious and important in God’s eyes. He has us placed exactly where we need to be, so that his perfect will shall be done.

This balance can be quite delicate at times. It takes only one of us to decide to do things our way instead of God’s way to upset this balance. When we interfere with God’s plan by taking matters into our own hands, this is when we can experience delays in the manifestation of our desires.

We must not interfere with God’s will. Of course, it goes without saying that if we are believing for something to become a reality in our lives, we must continue to stand on His word and never give up.

Patience is a virtue. It’s only when we lose faith that our lives become a shambles. God warns us about this in His word. He tells us to have patient endurance through all the trials and sufferings. He tells us this because He loves us and He wants us to receive all our blessings that are due to us! 1 Peter 5:10 NKJV “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.”

Of course, we know that God made the ultimate sacrifice out of His love for us, and that is, He sent His one and only beloved Son to be born of the flesh, to walk amongst men, to heal the nations and to die for us so that we could live. Because of Jesus, we have been redeemed from the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV “Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

The power of love can mend a broken heart, and comfort a lonely soul. The power of God’s love can move mountains! The power of God’s love can heal all our diseases and enable us to prosper in everything we do. All we need is a little faith and we can expect to see those miracles unfolding in our lives. Psalm 103:1-5 NKJV “BLESS the LORD, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Amen.

PS 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NKJV “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, love never fails.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Daybreak!

When we truly open our eyes to see, we shall see things that will amaze us. What was once darkness soon becomes light as we gaze into the eyes of our beloved Jesus. Pain and sorrow begin to cease, and are replaced with joy, ease and contentment. We begin to feel a peace around us that is all-encompassing. Philippians 4:7 NKJV “and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

When we walk with Jesus, we will see things as never before. The truth of God’s word becomes our reality, as we meditate on it day and night. Psalm 1:1-3 NKJV “BLESSED is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.”

When we commit to this path, and serve Him fully, without letting our desires of our own fulfilment get in the way, much will be revealed to us about how we can better face each part of the journey. Things are revealed to us as we walk. When we commence a particular part of our journey, we are given all we need in order to move in the direction of God’s will.

We are prepared in advance for this walk. Much of what we are given today will lay the foundation for some future point in time. Ephesians 2:10 NKJV “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

He has literally prepared the way for us to walk. It’s only when we take a few detours that we begin to get off track. It’s important that we follow God’s guidance so that we may be able to take the shortest route possible to where we are going. It’s when we get impatient and take shortcuts, trying to do things our way, that we take longer to get to each destination. Proverbs 19:20-21 NKJV “Listen to counsel and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter days. There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’S counsel – that will stand.”

The more we trust in the Lord to guide us and give us a helping hand, the more we will come to experience this in our lives. We will begin to notice things flowing smoothly and effortlessly, more and more as time goes by. This is one of the many benefits of our walk with the Lord. The Lord is our light, guiding us through the shadows of fear and worry. If we will let Him, He will guide us through all the darkness until we reach the light of day. Proverbs 4:18 NKJV “But the path of the just is like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.”

PS John 8:12 NKJV “I am the light of the world, He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

It's A New Day!

Glory to the King! Let us sing His praises! Let us all be glad in His presence! Let us all shout Hallelujah for all the wonderful things He has done! When we sing praises to the Lord, it is music to His ears! Psalm 147:1-6 “PRAISE the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. The LORD lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.”

When was the last time you sang praises to the Lord? Was it when you were happy in your life - or when things weren’t going too well. It’s easy to sing and be joyful when things are going well for you, that is one thing, but when you are feeling low, and things around you seem to be all falling apart, that is when it becomes a little more challenging. That however, is when you need to do it the most!

When we praise Him with our mouths, we are not only thanking Him and giving Him honour for the wonderful things He has already done, but it is also thanking Him in advance for all the blessings He is yet to bestow upon us for our futures.

When we are giving praise, we cannot help but feel joyful! You may not initially feel all that good, but once you get past the initial effort, joy and happiness abounds! Here you will find resolution to all your problems and concerns. The Lord blesses a happy heart. Proverbs 15:15 NKJV “But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.”

When you give thanks for your circumstances, exactly as they are, this will open the way for change. We cannot expect the Lord to give us more, if we are not expressing thanksgiving for what we already have. The Lord wants us to be thankful in all circumstances, including the ones we’re in now. Philippians 4:6 NKJV “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

How can we expect the Lord to prosper us if we are busy complaining. When we complain – we remain - exactly as we are! No-one wants to stay in a less than desirable situation, so it’s in our best interests to praise our Lord, give Him thanks, and rejoice and sing to Him. It’s the least we can do, after everything He has done for us! Ephesians 5:18-21 NKJV “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.” Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

PS Psalm 118:24 NKJV “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Amen!
All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Resisting Temptation

There comes a time in everyone’s life where they must settle down and deny themselves many a temptation. There are temptations to the left of us and temptations to the right. This is where many people fail to achieve wholeness in their walk with Jesus. It is where they fall short in their lives in Christ.

Jesus knows all about temptation. He was tempted by Satan in just about every way you could imagine, the only difference being that He passed with flying colours! He never succumbed to temptation. His walk was blameless and free from sin. Hebrews 4:15 NKJV “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

While He is compassionate to us for our shortcomings, He knows and understands the many pitfalls there are that can get us into danger and sin. James 1:12 “Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

We must take full responsibility to ensure that we do not succumb to temptation. We cannot blame God, and we must resist with all our might! James 1:13-16 “Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.”

It’s high time that we as a nation of followers take control of ourselves, and our earthly desires of lust and greed, in order that we may become more settled in our ways, and more in touch with the truth. We must never forget who we are – we are God’s children, and we need to act as such.

Whenever we see ourselves slipping, we can turn to the Lord for help. He loves and cares for us and helps us to walk in the light of His truth. Psalm 94:18-19 NKJV “If I say, ‘My foot slips, ‘Your mercy, O Lord, will hold me up. In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.”

If we do stray from the path, we must first acknowledge that we are in error, and offer up our repentance to God. Repentance declares to God that we His followers, are sorry for being in error, and that we intend to turn from our wicked ways, and it allows the power of the precious blood of Jesus to cleanse us of any sin. 2 Peter 3:9 NKJV “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Remember that the road to life can be difficult and treacherous, but if you have the courage to travel it, you will be rewarded beyond measure. Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

PS 1 Corinthians 9:24 NKJV “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always, goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Come and Stand on His Word!

When things get tough, we must turn to the one who loves us and stand on His word. He has given us many promises in the Bible, so that we may be equipped to withstand the toughest of trials. His promises are true. They have stood the test of time and will continue to do so. His words are eternal. 1 Corinthians 1:9 NKJV “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

When you say that you want this or that, you must back it up by His word. You must find the passage in the Bible that says you can have it – and stand on it! Speak it out and believe it! Trust with all your heart that you will have it. God wants to bless you with his promises, and all you need to do is ask. As long as we are asking according to His will then He will surely deliver. 1 John 5:14 NKJV "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us."

On this journey, there will come a point in time where you must stand and fight for what you want. It is not a journey for the faint-hearted, that’s for sure. You must gather all your confidence and start believing for what you want. It is all there for you to enjoy! The possibilities are endless!

We must remember though, that it is with great endurance that one must follow this path. It takes great courage to take a stand at times, especially when there appears to be many things against you. You must remember that these are all lies by the devil, and that the word of God is the truth.

The word of God is alive! It has power to achieve miracles. When you stand on God’s word, all the while having the faith in its accomplishment, this is when the true miracles begin! Isaiah 55:10-11 NKJV “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

As long as we understand that God’s word is truth, and that it has the power to accomplish God’s will for us, then all we need do then is to have the faith that all is being taken care of by our King. Just leave the details to Him. He will guide and instruct you around any obstacles and will lead you on to greater heights! Hebrews 4:12 NKJV “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Let the journey begin!

PS Matthew 4:4 NKJV “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Amen.

All glory for these words, as always, goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

A Life of Miracles

The wonderful thing about life in God’s Kingdom is that you will be witness to many miraculous occurrences all around you. Your life will never be the same as it was prior to you coming into the Kingdom! The Kingdom of Heaven can be experienced on Earth! Why wait until you get there when you can have it all here! Matthew 6:10 NKJV “Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

One of the things to remember is to always seek the Lord God Almighty in everything you do. This will put God in charge and bring your will into line with His perfect will. Matthew 6:33 NKJV “But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

One of the best ways to serve the King is to claim what’s rightfully yours! The Lord wants us all to receive everything that He has planned for us for our lives! He wants you to be fulfilled. He wants you to prosper. He is a God who delights in our prosperity! Psalm 35:27 NKJV “Let the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

It is our birthright to receive these blessings, and it is our responsibility to make sure the devil doesn’t steal them from us. He would like nothing more than for you to miss out on your inheritance. 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

When we come to realise who we are in Christ, we will certainly find out the true meaning of what it is to be blessed. He will show us the way to a life of success, with one miracle after another! He will literally turn your life around and give you a destiny greater than you could ever imagine! He knows the plans He has for us. He can see what is required for every piece of the puzzle to fit together in order to create the complete picture. Jeremiah 29:11 “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.”

The tapestry of life is such that it confounds even the wisest among us. Although there is much mystery surrounding life here on Earth, the one thing we can be sure of is God’s love for us. He will love us, protect us, guide us and heal us. We can be sure of this because He sent His precious Son Jesus here to walk amongst the people and humble Himself in order that man could experience the glory of God. He sent his only Son to die for us in our place, so that we could receive our Salvation. Our sins have all been forgotten – He will remember them no more! Jeremiah 31:34 “For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” What a gift to us.

He has given us His mercy, and allowed us the freedom to live, with the promise of life everlasting. John 3:16 NKJV “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

PS Psalm 100:5 NKJV “For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.” Amen.

All glory for these words, as always, goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

For We Walk By Faith and Not By Sight

For it is by sight, that we lose connection with all things good! Our faith is what connects us to the impossible. Our faith is what helps us to transcend difficulties. Our faith brings us into line with God’s will. For when we walk by faith in God, and in all of His many promises in the Bible, we can be assured of success in this life! 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV “For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Our faith helps us to breathe easier during times of trouble. It is by faith that we can conquer the evil in our lives. Having faith means that we cannot give in to fear. Fear cannot exist when we stand firm in our faith. God did not give us a spirit of fear, no! He has given us the gift of faith. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

The devil will try and rob you of your blessings. He is happy when you are not walking in faith. We must be strong and of good courage, and stand against the devil in order that we may receive all of our inheritance. We must resist the devil. James 4:7 NKJV “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

Our muscles grow over time, with use and by exercising them. When we put our faith in Jesus, we can expect to see results. He promises us that if we have faith as a mustard seed, we can accomplish great and amazing things! It is written Luke 17:6 NKJV “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.”

God says that we cannot please Him without faith. He wants us to believe in Him, in order that we may receive our blessings. Hebrews 11:6 NKJV “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

Faith comes to those who practice it. Our faith is increased when we stand on God’s word. The more we use it the more we will see those things that we have hoped for and dreamed of, coming to fruition. It’s easy then to have faith, once we see God’s promises all unfolding in our lives.

It is through having faith in God that we are able to rise above challenges. The more we read God’s word, the more we learn about who we are in Christ. Just knowing who we are to Jesus, strengthens us, enabling us to stand up to whatever lies ahead.

A life with Jesus is a life of miracles. He died on the cross so that we could live a full life, rich with blessings and abundance, and free of all the curses that sin brings. He died so that we can be whole and complete, and lacking in nothing.

He died so that we could have eternal life. 1 John 5:11-12 “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.”

PS Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV “ Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Amen.

All glory for these words, as always, goes to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Walk With Me

When we try to solve all of life’s issues on our own, or shall we say, by our own power, we can run into many a difficulty. It is only when we call on the Lord Jesus Christ for help that we are able to overcome much. It is by His stripes we are healed, (Is 53:5), and it is by His blood that we are saved! 1 John 1:7 NKJV “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

It is written Mark 8:34 NKJV “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Following Jesus means that you must deny yourself much of what the world has on offer. It means resisting much temptation, and living a life that is free of selfish desires. When we live to serve Jesus, the things that perhaps were important to us before, lose their significance, and are replaced with the heartfelt desire to please the Lord.

There is much satisfaction for those who walk this path. The love that you will share with Jesus is like nothing you could experience on this Earth! He comforts the lonely, and heals the sick. He is your friend and your confidante, and will always be there for you. He will never forsake you. Hebrews 13:5 NKJV ‘For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

When we walk with Jesus, much of what we aim to accomplish, will be accomplished by Him. He will lead you along the right paths, in order that you will succeed. Psalm 23:3 “He gives me new strength, He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised.” He will make the way smooth for you, and iron out any bumps along the way! He will soften any blows you may receive from the enemy, and will make everything turn out for the betterment of you and your family. Romans 8:28 NKJV “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Jesus has many plans for you in your life. He will set you free from the restraints that have held you back before you came to know and love Him. He will see to it that all your needs are met, and then some! Philippians 4:19 NKJV “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” His riches in glory! Do you know what that means? He has an unlimited supply, and He has them all up there in His great big storehouse in the sky! Hallelujah!

There is one final thing. When you walk with Jesus, you must trust in Him wholly and completely. You must have the faith that He is indeed there looking after you, and that whatever happens, He can and will sort it out for you. You must have faith that, for Him, anything and everything is possible! Matthew 19:26 NKJV “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Amen.

PS The Bible is God’s word and God’s word is truth. All of His promises He has given to you in the Bible are exactly that – promises, and He never breaks His promises! 2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” Praise God!

All glory for these words, as always, goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Joy of Your Salvation

Salvation comes about as a result of your acceptance of Jesus Christ into your heart and the understanding and acknowledgement that He did indeed die on that cross at Calvary for your sins. The truth is that when we believe this with all our hearts, our lives take on new meaning. Our days begin to fill with joy. When we come to fully understand what this means for us, and the implications of this truth, our lives begin to be filled with purpose. We begin to live with purpose. We begin to live for Him. Galatians 2:20 NKJV “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

When one truly understands this, and takes this message into their hearts, a new life will commence! A new beginning on a completely new road! It will be the beginning of enlightenment to the truth, shining the way forward for you. Psalm 119:105 NKJV “Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

New knowledge and a completely new direction are all part of this journey. Living successfully and receiving guidance along the way are among the many benefits of your new life. Your problems will be ironed out, and your paths will be made smooth. Your steps will be directed by the Lord. Isaiah 26:7 "LORD, you make the path smooth for good people; the road they travel is level.”

With your newfound knowledge and skills in dealing with life’s many challenges, you will be equipped to handle anything. You will be able to rise above your circumstances, and be largely unaffected by those around you who are caught up in the ways of this world.

Your focus will be on Jesus and on His Word. You will, in time, become one with His will for you, and you will grow in ways that will astound both you and those around you. Those who are closest to you will not be able to comprehend the changes in you at first. They will be amazed at the new you, and your new life, and will come to the conclusion that it’s all as a result of your new life with Jesus at the helm. Isaiah 61:6-7 “And you will be known as the priests of the LORD, The servants of our God. You will enjoy the wealth of the nations And be proud that it is yours. Your shame and disgrace are ended. You will live in your own land, And your wealth will be doubled; Your joy will last for ever.”

You will become a blessing to others, and God will bless you too! By being a blessing to others, God’s holy name will be glorified, and people will see God’s love shining through you. Many lives can and will be touched in this way, and God will reward you for being His faithful servant. Matthew 25:23 NKJV “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.” Amen.

PS Revelations 21:4-7 NKJV “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away’. Then He who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’ And He said to me, ‘Write, for these words are true and faithful’. And He said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.”

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

All glory for these words, as always, goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
