WHAT DO WE DO WHEN “TROUBLE” STRIKES?

“Trouble,” is defined in the dictionary as, (to disturb in mind; to distress; worry; to make trouble for someone, disturbance disorder unrest).  All these afflictions are to cause disadvantageous or a source of stress or anxiety or distress in difficulties.  (John 16:33 NKJV) tells us, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”  What is tribulation, we may ask?  Well tribulation is identified again in the dictionary as being, (grievous trouble – causing grief or sorrow, severe trial or experience).

We have all gone through many trials and testing to see our character, but thank God we have remained fixed and stable on the promises of God in (Hebrews 13:5-6) “Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have.  For He himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”  So we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.  What can man do to me?”  This is our position in all circumstances of trouble’s attacks to get us off the course to great expectations, into a downward spiral of hopelessness living, without cause or purpose.  We must never forget these kind words of comfort that can enhance us to continue in living as overcomers, with cheerful dispositions on everything, and in every occasion of our lives.  This transpires in our lives as a result of trouble trying to inhabit our every nature of conduct, to debilitate, and waste us away into nothingness.  But God has made a way possible for all trouble, and tribulation to be removed from our existence, and that of our family’s lives, which would effectively eradicate all traces of the effects trouble and tribulation brings.

This is what Jesus taught us to do, “Come to Me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke and put it on you, and learn from Me because I am gentle and humble in spirit; and you will find rest.  For the yoke I will give you is easy, and the load the Lord will put on you is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30 GNT).  How awesome is that! Easy is the word that pleases us all to hear, so let’s do it now, repent of all the trouble and tribulation has set upon our lives to make living burdensome, to be set free in Jesus’ name for His overcoming ways to take effect in our lives now and for always:

*”Dear Lord Jesus we repent of having trouble and tribulation over us demanding for our life to be grievously affected to disturb our peace, and get us off course of the things that would cheer us up.  We are truly sorry for harbouring trouble and tribulation as a carnal defensive mechanism to cheat us out of the joy of living in your way, your truth, and your way of life for us as you have already overcome every difficulty we can ever face in our lives through trouble and tribulation, by taking all our sins upon yourself on the cross at Calvary.  And redeeming us for the life you have chosen and overcome for us already.  So with your grace and your help Jesus we cast all our problems and burdens onto you, and ask that you now wash us with your precious blood Jesus, clean and white as snow, that we might now be filled with the Holy Spirit’s gifts of, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, according to (Galatians 5:22-23).  So be it Lord Jesus to do it, for God is, and God will provide, and I draw the bloodline of Jesus over the whole lots, Amen!”
