(Matthew 10:32-33 GNT) “Those
who declare publicly that they belong to Me, I will do the same for them before
My Father in heaven. But those who
reject Me publicly, I will reject before My Father.”
(John 3:16-21 NKJV) “For God
so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world
to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but
he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in
the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practising evil, hates the
light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be
clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
“WHO IS GOD TO YOU? Each one of us perceives God according to our
needs met.
He is a Saviour of our sins through Jesus’ blood
shed at Calvary, a Helper of troubled times, the Exalter and Encourager
of who I am to be a better person for myself and others.
God is my Provider, God is
my Healer, God is my Everything, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit the Trinity is the Lord God
Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and All things, Amen!”
(Luke 8:26-35 NKJV) “Then
they sailed to the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee. And when He stepped out on the land, there
met him a certain man from the city who had demons for a long time. And he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a
house but in the tombs. When he saw
Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What
have I to do with you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you do not torment me!” For He had commanded the unclean spirit to
come out of the man. For it had often
seized him, and he was kept under guard, bound with chains and shackles; and he
broke the bonds and was driven by the demon into the wilderness. Jesus asked him, saying “What is your name?”
And he said, “Legion,” because many demons had entered him. And they begged Him that He would not command
them to go out into the abyss. Now a
herd of many swine was feeding on the mountain.
And they begged Him that He would permit them to enter them. And He permitted them. Then the demons went out of the man and
entered the swine, and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the
lake and drowned. When those who fed
them saw what had happened, they fled and told it in the city and in the
country. Then they went out to see what
had happened, and came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had
departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind.”
“Jesus’ journeying across to
the other side of the lake, and the man filled with “Legion” who ran to meet up
with Jesus – was his opportunity to be freed from oppressions of “Legion” from
the man’s life – him running towards Jesus is how we become believers. Jesus provides the opportunity to be saved,
and we must act then, otherwise we miss out, due to our arrogance, and
self-prideful nature, not to bend our knee to God the Most High – Maker of all
things seen and unseen, who wants everyone saved – but just like Pharaoh’s
hard-heartedness (Exodus 14:4 NKJV), unbelievers will not submit to their
Creator because they believe, they are not ever in the wrong, and they are
pompous and self-sufficient in themselves – they believe that “God helps those
who help themselves “– A LIE – instead the truth is “God helps those who can’t
help themselves, and to always rely on Him our Maker for
all our needs, and give Him the glory with an attitude of gratefulness, Amen!”
(Psalm 91:15-16) “He shall
call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; will deliver him and honour him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show
him My salvation.”
