The Lord's Perfection

One day, you will get up in the morning to discover that everything in your life has come together to form a beautiful and finished tapestry. This is the Lord’s perfection at work for you in your life. It comes as a result of knowing Him intimately, and from living according to His perfect will for you. This is when the enjoyment of the fruits of your labours begins, and is a time that many people can only dream about! This is when you can sit back and say, Thy kingdom has come, Thy will is being done, in Earth as it is in Heaven! (Refer Matthew 6:10 KJV.)

You will experience Heaven on Earth and you will be a glorious example and an inspiration to those around you. This is where many, many things start to come to fruition. It is a time of celebration for you as you now reap the bounty of His harvest. You have trusted, you have waited, you have lived and breathed God’s word into all of your situations, and you have learned to stand firm in your faith during trails and difficulties.

Some of you may say that it all sounds too good to be true, whilst others may say, ‘well, how do I get there from here?’ As you grow and mature in God’s word, you will find that you come to rely on Him for everything. You will not only live according to His will in your life, but you will come to learn how to apply His word into your everyday situations in order to live out the very best that God has in store for you. Deuteronomy 28:12 AMP says “The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give you the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

Of course there will always be situations around you that will test your faith, but in time you will develop your faith muscles and you will know how to apply it and then stand firm in any event. There are many factors that can hinder your progress, among them being other peoples free will which can inadvertently affect what you are trying to achieve, but if you hold firm and place all your trust in the Lord, He will always work out everything for your good. It is written in Romans 8:28 AMP “We are assured and know that (God being a partner in their labour) all things work together and are (fitting into a plan) for good to and for those who love God and are called according to (His) design and purpose.”

Besides that, as a result of the changes in you, you will begin to see changes in your nearest and dearest, and eventually everyone will be on board! Acts 16:31 NKJV states “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” How good is that!

For those who are just beginning this journey, you will need to start reading God’s word in the Bible and see what it says about your particular situation. Do this with every issue that comes up, even the small things, and you will begin to automatically know what to say and do when presented with any obstacles. It is then just a matter of standing firm, and not losing faith that whatever you hope for will come about!

That’s it! It’s easy when you know how! There is no limit to what can be achieved for you in this life. God is ready and waiting to transform your life from the ordinary to the extraordinary. He did this for me, and He will do it for you too! Praise God!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit whom I believe has very generously provided me with these words herein. Praise God! Amen.

PS If you let Him, the Lord will open doors for you that only He can open, and shut the doors to your past, thereby releasing you from the ties that have bound you for so many years! Revelations 3:7 says “This is the message from the one who is holy and true. He has the key that belonged to David, and when he opens a door, no one can close it, and when he closes it, no one can open it.” Amen!

God's Providence

When faced with life’s many challenges, it is wise to commit your future into the hands of the Almighty. As you go forth into your day, it is good practice to sit quietly with the Lord just being there in His presence. This will enable you to fill yourself with God’s strength and vigour, thus supplying you with all the necessary ingredients you may need for that particular day.

It is very pleasing to the Lord when you do this, and He will not only surround you with His love and joy, He will also supply all your needs for whatever is to come your way during the next 24 hours. Phil 4:19 TNIV says “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

When you get into a regular pattern of doing this, you will experience much joy and peace throughout your days, and this will serve to not only enlighten you to the many truths that are relevant to your current situation, it will allow you to fulfil the plans that God has for you at that particular point in time. John 15:5 AMP “I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from me (cut off from vital union with Me) you can do nothing.”

You will be well equipped with much knowledge and power to fulfil your destiny. God will see to this for you. He speaks His will to us into our hearts and our thoughts, and we then know how to proceed with the situations and experiences that come our way. He sends His Holy Spirit to guide us and inform us in the many different activities that we encounter each day. Psalm 37:4 NKJV says “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

When we come to understand the significance of the role that the Lord plays in our daily lives, we will have achieved much, knowing that our lives should be fulfilled by the very promises of God Himself. With every seed planted, we will reap a harvest, and it is God who is in charge of our harvest. God sees to it that the plant grows and thrives in whatever conditions it meets, and it will come to be according to His will. It is written in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 NKJV 6”I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”

It is God who in His wisdom, oversees our paths and directs us as to which steps to take. If we put our trust in Him wholly and completely, we will find ourselves gaining momentum with each step we take, and all the while reaping the many benefits of allowing Him to rule in our hearts and lives. “Deuteronomy 6:4 states “The LORD—and the LORD alone—is our God.”

The truth of the matter is that we cannot do it alone. There are many pitfalls along the path, and it can become quite treacherous when we do not allow God’s favour to shine upon us. We as humans need to understand that we do not have all the answers, and there are many, many more questions than answers that come about as a result of disregarding the Lord’s purpose in our lives.

We must look to the Bible as our source of strength and information which tells us what God’s will for us is in most every situation that can possibly arise in this life. We must seek His face always and in the midst of trials we will come to know that He is in charge and that we are being safely guided home to shore.

Take time alone, away from the hustle and bustle, to sit quietly with the Lord as much as possible, and you will begin to see small changes at first, but they will grow in number, and many lives will be changed as a result. This will help you to cope with the never ending barrage of stuff happening around you and will strengthen both you and your faith.

Keep a record of these changes however small, and when you look back on them, you will be delighted to see that you have indeed been guided by the hand of God, and made a living example of what His word is all about! Amen!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe, as always, has guided my hand with these writings for you. Amen.

PS Tell all your friends, and tell them to pass this on so that they too shall get to know and experience the joy and strength of getting to know our Lord Jesus Christ! Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Amen!
