Ripe For Harvest

When you see the truth for what it is one comes to a certain understanding. The one thing which settles all disputes is the love of God. Arguments have a way of undermining the most beneficial of friendships. They can reap havoc in the most solid of marriages. When we see and understand this, we can do something about it. Put the love of God into any situation and see for yourself the magic begin!

I say magic because what really occurs between a couple that has the love of God between them, is to say the least, miraculous! It can turn a marriage, a friendship, a business partnership, or even a partnership of any kind into a well-watered garden, producing the ripest of fruits for harvest!

James 3:17-18 says “But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle, and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy. And goodness is the harvest that is produced from the seeds the peacemakers plant in peace.”

Peace of mind is what you can achieve when you allow the love of God into your hearts. He will deliver you from all uncertainty while you wait quietly in His presence. May the love of God fill all the aches and hurts in your hearts! I say this to you as a prayer that has just come down from the Heavens. Peace, love and enlightenment can all be yours. It is only a stone’s throw away now. Turn your hearts and minds to God and watch for the ripening. A fresh start is available for all!

1 John 4:16 says “God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them.” One must understand that from chaos and confusion, comes peace when you hand over your life to God. Colossians 3:15 NKJV says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

Allow God to transport you to a place where there is no hurt or angst. Let Him be the one to soothe your hearts and minds. Talk to God. Tell Him how you are feeling. Ask His forgiveness. He is gentle and kind and will show mercy to all who ask. Please find within you, the courage to call upon Him – you will not be disappointed! Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV says “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

When I say that you are going to be filled with love and joy, remember His final words to you as he was dying on the cross. John 19:30 NKJV “It is finished.” Because of His finished work on the cross, we are now all free to live the joyous and wonderful lives filled with the blessings that God intended for us right from the beginning. Be free and enjoy your new life in Christ! Amen.

PS Psalm 103:8 says “The LORD is merciful and loving, slow to become angry and full of constant love.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have directed me with these words today. Amen.

The Fruits of the Spirit

Love seems to be the topic on everyone’s lips. There are many stories, poems, movies and songs written about love. It is what each and every heart desires. When we give love, we are sowing a seed, which germinates and eventually blossoms and returns to us fulfilled.

God’s word is love. His word never returns back to us void, which means that with every promise, he will personally see to it that it reaches back to us in its conclusion. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV says “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void. But it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Joy is not just a feeling. It is a state of mind that can be reached through serving and walking with Jesus. Joy comes to you when you know who you are in Christ. Once you know who you really are in the Kingdom of God, you simply cannot help but be joyful! Isaiah NKJV 65:14 says “Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart.”

Peace is what you get when you wholeheartedly follow Jesus trusting Him to take care of all your needs. With Jesus in charge of our daily lives, everything turns out according to His wondrous plans He has for us. Romans 5:1-2 NKJV says “Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Patience is what we must have when standing on the promises of God. His word is true and faithful, and it is only going to be a matter of time before He makes your dreams come true. Isaiah 30:18 TNIV “Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him!”

Kindness is what we must seek to bear witness to the everlasting love of God. Be kind to yourself and others, and live accordingly in the House of God. He will see your efforts to be true and as such reward you in your diligence. 2 Corinthians 6:6 says “By our purity, knowledge, patience, and kindness we have shown ourselves to be God’s servants.”

Goodness is what you experience when you come to understand the very nature and heart of God. He will see to it that you are shown goodness and mercy for all the days of your life, once you find in yourself the true meaning of what it is to be of one mind with God’s will. Psalm 84:11 TNIV says “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favour and honor, no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Faithfulness is what you see when you entrust your very life into the hands of God almighty. He will see you through every storm and calamity so that you shall indeed come out on top! You will have success in all you do. 2 Corinthians TNIV 9:10 says “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Humility is what you must show one another, so that God can bestow His favour upon you. This is how He wants us to comport ourselves within the Body of Christ. 1 Peter 5:5-6 TNIV says ‘All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble and oppressed. “ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.’

Self-control comes to those who are ‘practiced’ in God’s word. It comes with the maturity in His teachings and the knowledge that we are being taken care of until the day we die. Titus 1:7-9 says “Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless – not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable, one who lives what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.” Amen.

PS Galations 5:22-23 says “But the spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.” When we walk in the spirit, we can be fruitful for God, allowing Him to fulfil His great many purposes through us, in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

As always, all glory for these writings go to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have guided my hand today. Amen.

These Final Days

We are coming into a time beyond all human history that we have never seen before on our planet. There is much mystery surrounding Biblical Prophecy of the so called End Times, and much propaganda too. If we are to live joyous lives amidst all the chaos, then we must rise above all the angst that is being created by television and the media. Everywhere we turn, we see broadcasts of this or that happening somewhere in the world. There is so much negativity out there it is little wonder any of us can get any sleep! And yet, with so little said about the many wonderful things going on here today, one wonders what there is to be joyous about!

The news has a way of bringing hysteria into our homes. We must at all costs, keep a positive outlook in these troubled times. If we must watch the news, we must try to remember that these things going on all around us seem magnified to the point of giving us the illusion that it’s all happening right here in our own backyards! The world is a big place, and these happenings are all brought into our homes today courtesy of a big square box.

There are many claims out there that we are approaching the prophesied End Times. This is a very controversial subject and one that we are not to take lightly. There is much work to do to help bring home all of God’s children. We need to realise that our efforts must be directed at spreading the gospel and at restoring people’s faith in the one man that can save them, and that is Jesus Christ. He came that we may have life! John 10:10 says “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” We need to help set people free from their bondage and their commonly mistaken beliefs held about life after death. You’d be surprised at how many people don’t even believe there is a place called Hell. They think it’s all a big scare tactic to get Christians to behave themselves.

The fact is, Hell is mentioned throughout the Bible in various scriptures, such as in Matthew 5:22 “......you will be in danger of going to the fire of hell.”, also in Matthew 18:9 “......”and be thrown into the fire of hell.”, and again in Matthew 25:41 “Away to the eternal fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels!” These are just three scriptures and of course there are others located again in Matthew, and in Jude, Isaiah, Luke, Proverbs, in the Psalms and of course in Revelation.

We need to get the message out there that God loves us. That is the most important message of today. If we can help people come to know and experience this truth for themselves, then we are well on the way to helping to save souls. One more soul for God means one less for the Devil. So when you are faced with the choice to bring about positive change in your environment – choose life. Choose to be a shining example of what God’s love is all about. Matthew 5:15-16 says 15 “No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Don’t worry so much about how much time we have left to do this – let God be God and let Him deal with it. If we spend our lives worrying about when, or if, then we will be wasting our opportunity to bring forth God’s message of love. I’m not saying that shouldn’t be prepared. The Bible says that we should be ready. It is written in Matthew 24:44 “So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.”

Of course there are many signs of the End Times given to us as warnings. The disciples asked Jesus when all this will be, and what will happen to show that it is the time for His coming and the end of the age. Matthew 24:7 7 “Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be famines and earthquakes everywhere. 8 All these things are like the first pains of childbirth.”

But if we spend our time trying to assess everything then we could miss our opportunity to help bring home souls. By all means, watch the television, but try to keep on solid ground, and keep a positive perspective. These could well be the final days. So let’s not waste them worrying and speculating. Let’s do our job that has been assigned to us. Walk in the truth, displaying a clear message of hope, faith and the love of God in a time where it is needed more than anything else. Share this message with everyone you know and get them on board. Let’s do it! Amen.

All glory for these writings goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe gifted me with these words for you today.

PS I believe these are anointed words. They come not from me but from the one who knows.....Amen.
