Your Time Has Come!

It is written Isaiah 49:22-23 NKJV “Thus says the Lord GOD: ‘Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, And set up My standard for the peoples; They shall bring your sons in their arms, And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders; Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.”

For those who are brave enough to face even the toughest of trials for My name’s sake, you will come to find much hope and peace during those storms. You will rise above the clouds and be brought to a place of safety where you shall be in My glory. With My wings you shall fly high up in the sky and people from all over will ask themselves ‘How is it that you are so totally happy even during the calamities that are surrounding so many on the earth at this time?’

But you will know! You will know the truth! And that truth My dear friends shall indeed set you free.” John 8:31-36 NKJV “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

‘How is it that you are able to fly so high?’ they may say. You will know in your heart why these things must come to pass, and why it is so so very easy for you to soar on eagle’s wings. You will be free as a bird in flight that everyone around you may come to the understanding that I the Lord hath lifted you up that you may not fall, for I will uphold you with My right hand. Psalm 145:14 AMP “The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down.”

Oh what a joy it is to behold! My dear servants living their lives on bended knee yet exalted to My right hand side! You are My disciples! And I will show you just how far you’ve come. For I love to bless My dear children in that they may discover who I truly am! I am the one who loves to bless. I am He that guides you through the forgotten valleys by streams of living water! Allow Me to wash you with My word, and fulfil in you the great many plans I have for My dear ones!

With Me in charge of your life, I will bring every aspect of the totality of your being into alignment and perfect wholeness and completion in all things! I LOVE YOU! And I will not let you down. You WILL SEE with your own eyes just how I make my light shine upon you. Lift up thine eyes and you will see the darkness all around you fade into the distance with the hope of a brand new day filling the morning sky! Yes, your time HAS come! Glory to God and the church – His saints – for all time to come! Amen! Psalm 121 KJV “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” Hallelujah!

PS Isaiah 49:13 NKJV “Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted.” Amen.

All glory for the words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sowing Seeds of Righteousness

Love comes to those who have somewhere in the past, given out love or in other words, sown seeds of love. It happens that what we plant, we harvest – what we sow, we reap. So if you want hope – give it to someone else and when you least expect it, hope will be given back to you in full measure. Hosea 10:12 NKJV “Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.”

Tomorrow brings with it much in the way of these things that we have planted before. What you experience today will depend upon what you have dealt out to others. It may be that you are now receiving kindness from someone you’ve known only a short time. This happens as a result of some kindness seeds you have planted in the past. Proverbs 21:21 NKJV “He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness and honor.”

It is only when you come to realise that what you give out will be returned to you in full, that you will be more careful in what you dish out to others. It is through this realisation that much progress will be made in your personal life. For those seeds you planted yesterday, are about to germinate and become either the fulfilment of something desirable or on the other hand not so desirable.

This is very important knowledge to you on your journey. This will help you to achieve either a peaceful existence or one that is wrought with chaos. The good news is, no matter what the situation, it is never too late to start sowing good seeds – seeds that you will enjoy – you can begin sowing seeds of righteousness. Proverbs 11:18-21 “The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. As righteousness leads to life, So he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death. Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, But the blameless in their ways are His delight. Though they join forces, the wicked will not go unpunished; But the posterity of the righteous will be delivered.”

PS If you can make a commitment today to walk in truth, to not slander, criticise or judge others, and to show love, peace and goodwill to those around you, I guarantee that you will begin to reap a harvest of righteousness for which you shall be justified as radiant as the midday sun! Psalm 37:3-6 NKJV “Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.” Amen!

All glory as always for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Joy and Peace Everlasting

May the God of all peace guide you and instruct you in all your ways. Peace, love and restoration by yours in Jesus mighty name. Amen! Hallelujah to the King! His ways are above ours and His wisdom is not of this world! These are the days of the fulfilment of His many promises to you! This is the beginning of the end of the evil one! Amen!

I run to the hills and cry out your name, oh mighty one of Israel! It is you Lord, who hears and answers my prayers! For the God of our ancestors is the same and mighty God before us today! He is the way, the truth and the life!

He is the way forward for us to reach potentials in this life that we have never dreamed of! He has given you so much already and He is waiting to give you so much more! He is waiting to give you your destiny – a destiny which He had in mind for you before you were even born! Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Amen.

Sit before the Lord all peoples, and worship Him with all your heart and with all your soul, because He is about to give deliverance to all from the destruction of the powers of darkness! Yes that’s right! He will claim you as His own! His sheep are coming home!

My sheep hear My voice and I am calling them to Me! Wake up all you peoples and hear the voice of the Lord God Almighty! Come to Him and behold His glory! He has given you His life in exchange for your sins! This is the call to you all peoples, for it is not My will for anyone to perish! It is My will for you to have life everlasting, and to enjoy all the many benefits of peace, love, joy and Salvation. It’s yours for the taking – it’s available to all!

John 10:14-16 NKJV “I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.” Praise be to God, Amen!

PS Come to me all you who labor and are tired. In Me you will find the strength that you need to traverse these mountains and cliff tops. I will bring you peace and mercy, and joy everlasting for all the days of your life. This is My promise to you! Isaiah 41:10 NKJV “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Amen.

All glory as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Power Plug!

Buckle up! For the glory of the Lord is upon you! Oh Lord God Almighty, you are the one who is able to set the captives free! You unchain the prisoners and open the gates for them! You break the yokes of oppression in those who truly love you! Glory to our Lord Jesus Christ who is holy upon Mount Zion forever! Praise to the King! Let Him rule and reign in our hearts forevermore! Amen. Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.”

For these are the times we have been waiting for! The Lord God your King has come to set you free! He will deliver you from all the evils that have been affecting you in your life, and He will make the way clear for you. He has come that we may have life abundantly! He will restore to you the long lost dreams you have forgotten about. He will restore honour to you in your homes and in the land! He is the King of all kings – Hallelujah! Isaiah 61:6-7 NKJV “But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. Instead of shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs.” Amen!

Please know, trust and understand that the Lord your God is on your side. He is leading you and guiding you around all the obstacles that have been for so long blocking your path. He is with you when you eat! He is with you when you sleep! He is on the job for you 24 hours and day and then some! He is with you now, holding you firmly by the shoulders, keeping you upright, and He will never, ever, and I say never, ever, and again, never, ever let you go! GOD LOVES YOU! May peace, love and understanding be yours now, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

PS Plug into Jesus, because He is the light of the world! He will light up your path and indeed your whole life! Isaiah 61:1-3 NKJV “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” AMEN!

All glory as always for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Season's of Joy

There will come a time in your life where you will look around and be happy with all that you have, and with all that surrounds you. You will have reached a plateau in your path, and you will be able to stop and just enjoy the scenery for a while.

It is a time of much joy for you; a time where you have reaped what you have sown. There is a season for everything, and this is a time of reflection and inner peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1 NKJV “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.”

If you have followed God’s will for your life, then you will be at a place where you can relax and enjoy the day, simply enjoying what God has prepared for you. He has made the way for you – now it is up to you to bask in it, giving thanks for each opportunity He has given you. Psalm 118:24 NKJV “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

It is now time for you to enjoy the harvest from the seeds you planted previously. The type of seeds you planted will determine what you will now experience from the harvest. The good news is, if you planted love, then that love will come back to you, and you will experience the blessings that love brings! It may not be from the source you expected; nonetheless it will now come back to you – paid in full! James 3:18 NKJV “Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

Sometimes we may plant seeds of love in very dark places, and it may take a very long time before you reap a harvest from those seeds. But rest assured, you will receive back what you have given out, and you may be surprised to see where that love comes from! God is in charge of those details, and it is up to us to simply plant the seeds. 1 Corinthians 3:5-8 NKJV “Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.”

Therefore, we must be very careful what seeds we plant, for there will come a time in our lives where we experience the fruits of our labours, either to our greatest joy, or to our dismay. God’s will for you is that you produce good fruits! He wants you to prosper in your life and be successful in carrying out His will. Proverbs 12:12-14 NKJV “The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit. The wicked is ensnared by the transgression of his lips, But the righteous will come through trouble. A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, And the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.” Amen.

PS Isaiah 40:10 NKJV “Behold, the Lord GOD shall come with a strong hand, And His arm shall rule for Him; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.” Amen.

All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

It's A New Day!

Glory to the King! Let us sing His praises! Let us all be glad in His presence! Let us all shout Hallelujah for all the wonderful things He has done! When we sing praises to the Lord, it is music to His ears! Psalm 147:1-6 “PRAISE the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel. He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. The LORD lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.”

When was the last time you sang praises to the Lord? Was it when you were happy in your life - or when things weren’t going too well. It’s easy to sing and be joyful when things are going well for you, that is one thing, but when you are feeling low, and things around you seem to be all falling apart, that is when it becomes a little more challenging. That however, is when you need to do it the most!

When we praise Him with our mouths, we are not only thanking Him and giving Him honour for the wonderful things He has already done, but it is also thanking Him in advance for all the blessings He is yet to bestow upon us for our futures.

When we are giving praise, we cannot help but feel joyful! You may not initially feel all that good, but once you get past the initial effort, joy and happiness abounds! Here you will find resolution to all your problems and concerns. The Lord blesses a happy heart. Proverbs 15:15 NKJV “But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.”

When you give thanks for your circumstances, exactly as they are, this will open the way for change. We cannot expect the Lord to give us more, if we are not expressing thanksgiving for what we already have. The Lord wants us to be thankful in all circumstances, including the ones we’re in now. Philippians 4:6 NKJV “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God; and the peace of all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

How can we expect the Lord to prosper us if we are busy complaining. When we complain – we remain - exactly as we are! No-one wants to stay in a less than desirable situation, so it’s in our best interests to praise our Lord, give Him thanks, and rejoice and sing to Him. It’s the least we can do, after everything He has done for us! Ephesians 5:18-21 NKJV “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.” Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!

PS Psalm 118:24 NKJV “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Amen!
All glory for these words as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Hope Brings Peace

As I watched the TV this morning, I became aware of the great many tragedies that are occurring all over the world. From the point of view of a concerned Christian, it is hard to see such sorrow and despair written all over the faces of the human beings who have lost their families, their homes and their possessions.

Of course it is hard for Christians and non-Christians alike. But who are we to judge? We cannot know the reasons for this. All we know is that God is in control. He knows all the facts – things which may be hidden under the surface.

I have learned so for that things are never quite as they seem, and that all things fit together to form God’s plan. The more we think we understand, the more we discover there are many things that we have yet to learn.

One thing is for certain though. He is going to fulfil His plans for us here on this Earth. Undoubtedly, we are to remain firm in His ways and not give in to fear. Fear as we know, is not from God – it is from Satan. 2 Tim 1:7 NKJV “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

We must remain confident that all things are working together for our good. Our faith is what we have to hang onto during these troublesome times. Faith triumphs in trouble! Romans 5:1-5 NKJV “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

When we see things from this perspective, we are able to come to the conclusion that we are not to live according to what we see. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” We must rise up above all the bad news that is filtering through to us on a daily basis. This is how we can remain peaceful and not get carried away by our emotions. Philippians 5:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

All things considered, we should try to accept that the final plan for God to bring His glorious new Kingdom to Earth is in place, and we will know such joy and wonder once this has happened! We will be home with our Lord Jesus Christ to the fulfilment of His promise prophesied in Revelation. Revelation 21:10 NKJV “And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God.”

Naturally, we do not know how long we have left. There are many theories out there, and I’m not about to expound on them. Perhaps it is sooner rather than later, sometime in the near future – or perhaps it will happen in another 1000 years! Who knows? But one thing is for sure, God will see to it that everyone who has their names written in the Lambs Book of Life will all be gathered together into His open loving arms, and it will not eventuate until every last soul who is meant to be saved – is saved! So be it. Come, Lord Jesus! Amen.

PS Revelation 21:24 NKJV “And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.” Amen

All praise and glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe as always have guided me with these words herein. Amen.

Ripe For Harvest

When you see the truth for what it is one comes to a certain understanding. The one thing which settles all disputes is the love of God. Arguments have a way of undermining the most beneficial of friendships. They can reap havoc in the most solid of marriages. When we see and understand this, we can do something about it. Put the love of God into any situation and see for yourself the magic begin!

I say magic because what really occurs between a couple that has the love of God between them, is to say the least, miraculous! It can turn a marriage, a friendship, a business partnership, or even a partnership of any kind into a well-watered garden, producing the ripest of fruits for harvest!

James 3:17-18 says “But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle, and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy. And goodness is the harvest that is produced from the seeds the peacemakers plant in peace.”

Peace of mind is what you can achieve when you allow the love of God into your hearts. He will deliver you from all uncertainty while you wait quietly in His presence. May the love of God fill all the aches and hurts in your hearts! I say this to you as a prayer that has just come down from the Heavens. Peace, love and enlightenment can all be yours. It is only a stone’s throw away now. Turn your hearts and minds to God and watch for the ripening. A fresh start is available for all!

1 John 4:16 says “God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them.” One must understand that from chaos and confusion, comes peace when you hand over your life to God. Colossians 3:15 NKJV says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

Allow God to transport you to a place where there is no hurt or angst. Let Him be the one to soothe your hearts and minds. Talk to God. Tell Him how you are feeling. Ask His forgiveness. He is gentle and kind and will show mercy to all who ask. Please find within you, the courage to call upon Him – you will not be disappointed! Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV says “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

When I say that you are going to be filled with love and joy, remember His final words to you as he was dying on the cross. John 19:30 NKJV “It is finished.” Because of His finished work on the cross, we are now all free to live the joyous and wonderful lives filled with the blessings that God intended for us right from the beginning. Be free and enjoy your new life in Christ! Amen.

PS Psalm 103:8 says “The LORD is merciful and loving, slow to become angry and full of constant love.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have directed me with these words today. Amen.

The Truth According To God's Word

When you walk in trust, two things will happen. You will be led on an amazing journey filled with miracles and blessings, and others will see for themselves the kind of life you can have when you give yourself over to the Lord. God has great things planned for you and me. Things which we cannot even begin to imagine!

If you’ve already been walking in the truth then you will know and understand that you may have come so far on your own, but it has indeed been the Lord that has carried you the rest of the way.

We cannot achieve anything by our own efforts - anything of any lasting value that is. Of course, faith without works is dead. James 2:15-16 NKJV says ‘If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.’

Living by faith means that you will sow your seed and then believe and expect it to germinate. Depending upon the state of the ground, that is your level of faith and trust, you will begin to see new growth. Matthew 13:20-23 says “The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they hear it. But it does not sink deep into them, and they don’t last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once. The seeds that fell among thornbushes stand for those who hear the message; but the worries about this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don’t bear fruit. And the seeds sown in the good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it: they bear fruit, some as much as a hundred, others sixty, and others thirty.”

Don’t be like the ones who sowed their seeds in rocky ground or amongst the thornbushes. Be like the ones who planted in the good soil, and receive your blessings as much as a hundred!

Absorb the word. Read it daily or as much as possible. Take it into your very being and understand its meaning. Live it. Walk it. Breathe it. Eat it. Sleep it! If you do this you cannot help but bear much fruit.

Jesus is the vine. John 15:5 says “I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear a great deal of fruit; for you can do nothing without me. Verses 7-8 go on to say “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish, and you shall have it. My Father’s glory is shown by your bearing a lot of fruit; and in this way you become my disciples.”

So go on, get into God’s word and start becoming fruitful for God. The more fruit we bear, the more glory will go to our Heavenly Father! Amen.

PS Our Father in Heaven has chosen us to do great things in the name of Jesus! John 14:12-13 states “I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do -– yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have guided me as always with these words. Amen.

The Fruits of the Spirit

Love seems to be the topic on everyone’s lips. There are many stories, poems, movies and songs written about love. It is what each and every heart desires. When we give love, we are sowing a seed, which germinates and eventually blossoms and returns to us fulfilled.

God’s word is love. His word never returns back to us void, which means that with every promise, he will personally see to it that it reaches back to us in its conclusion. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV says “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void. But it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Joy is not just a feeling. It is a state of mind that can be reached through serving and walking with Jesus. Joy comes to you when you know who you are in Christ. Once you know who you really are in the Kingdom of God, you simply cannot help but be joyful! Isaiah NKJV 65:14 says “Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart.”

Peace is what you get when you wholeheartedly follow Jesus trusting Him to take care of all your needs. With Jesus in charge of our daily lives, everything turns out according to His wondrous plans He has for us. Romans 5:1-2 NKJV says “Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Patience is what we must have when standing on the promises of God. His word is true and faithful, and it is only going to be a matter of time before He makes your dreams come true. Isaiah 30:18 TNIV “Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him!”

Kindness is what we must seek to bear witness to the everlasting love of God. Be kind to yourself and others, and live accordingly in the House of God. He will see your efforts to be true and as such reward you in your diligence. 2 Corinthians 6:6 says “By our purity, knowledge, patience, and kindness we have shown ourselves to be God’s servants.”

Goodness is what you experience when you come to understand the very nature and heart of God. He will see to it that you are shown goodness and mercy for all the days of your life, once you find in yourself the true meaning of what it is to be of one mind with God’s will. Psalm 84:11 TNIV says “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favour and honor, no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Faithfulness is what you see when you entrust your very life into the hands of God almighty. He will see you through every storm and calamity so that you shall indeed come out on top! You will have success in all you do. 2 Corinthians TNIV 9:10 says “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Humility is what you must show one another, so that God can bestow His favour upon you. This is how He wants us to comport ourselves within the Body of Christ. 1 Peter 5:5-6 TNIV says ‘All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble and oppressed. “ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.’

Self-control comes to those who are ‘practiced’ in God’s word. It comes with the maturity in His teachings and the knowledge that we are being taken care of until the day we die. Titus 1:7-9 says “Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless – not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable, one who lives what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.” Amen.

PS Galations 5:22-23 says “But the spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.” When we walk in the spirit, we can be fruitful for God, allowing Him to fulfil His great many purposes through us, in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

As always, all glory for these writings go to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have guided my hand today. Amen.

Peace and Restoration

Most of us would like a life of peace and tranquillity, although it seems at times, that the harder we strive for it, the more we are faced with situations that take away the very thing we want – and that is peace! Jesus wants us to be peaceful and contented in all situations without letting worry or fear affect our ability to stay calm in the midst of the storms.

In the Bible, it tells of an occasion where Jesus was in a boat with his disciples, and a great tempest suddenly arose on the sea and covered the boat with waves. Jesus was asleep, and His disciples started to panic, so they woke Him up. Matthew 8:26 NKJV ‘But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.’

Wouldn’t it have been great to have lived in Jesus’ time? Imagine actually living during the times when He was alive, and witnessing for ourselves the miraculous things He did!

If Jesus can make the winds and sea obey Him with a simple command, then surely we can put our faith and trust in Him to deliver and protect us from whatever storms are threatening to approach us. He wants us to show our faith in Him by not panicking like His disciples in the boat did, and by being content in all circumstances with the knowledge that we are being taken care of. Philippians 4:11 TNIV “for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”

The Apostle Paul goes on to explain how he can be content no matter what his circumstances are, by the very fact that it is Jesus who gives him the strength he needs to cope with whatever is happening to him. Philippians 4:13 AMP says “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me. I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.]”

We know that He is indeed sovereign and that He will delight in making our dreams come true. We know this because He gave His life for us, so that we would be redeemed from every possible misfortune that would befall us in this life. He needs you to come to Him with everything so that He can create for you the life you deserve.

We need to be thankful and give Him praise at all times, despite whether or not this is logical. These are supernatural responses which receive supernatural results! He is the God Almighty! He is the host of hosts! Psalm 46:7 NKJV says “The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”

When we come to Him in the midst of all our trials, thanking Him for being in control, we shall experience much joy and peace in knowing that we can take our hands off the situation, and just sit back and relax while He leads us to a place of peace and restoration. Psalm 23:2-3 NKJV says “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His names sake.”

This and more He will do for you, for you are His chosen ones. He will deliver you from all transgressions, and will give you a peace of mind that can only be attained through Christ Himself. It is written in John 14:27 NKJV “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”

To me, the name Jesus implies peace. If you look back at His life on Earth despite what was going on, He maintained an attitude of peace while faithfully obeying His Father in Heaven, right to the very end of His life. Even despite knowing what was about to happen to Him on the cross at Calvary, Jesus prayed according to Luke 22:42 NKJV “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours be done.” He still prayed for our Fathers will to be done and not His! He was faithful even to His last breath! All so that we could have life and have it abundantly! All this He did for you.

When you are seeking peace, look to Jesus. Gently whisper His name as a sign of your commitment to the truth, and you will be led on a journey of complete transformation. You will be taking the first vital steps towards your new life on the Road to Holiness. So be it, come Lord Jesus! Isaiah 35:8 says NLT “And a highway will be there, it will be called ‘The Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Amen.

PS Colossians NKJV 4:3 says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body and be thankful.” That is my prayer for you. Amen.

Thank you to the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have gifted me with these words to you today. Amen.

What Is Heaven Like?

Some people believe that Heaven is our reward for our good behaviour on Earth. Anyone who knows anything about Christianity wants to 'go to Heaven' when their lives on Earth are complete. There have been many accounts of what Heaven is like, and let's face it; wouldn't we all love to know?

A select few have had what is known as "Near Death Experiences' and have given very detailed descriptions of what or whom they have encountered on the 'other side'. There are many stories of people who have been on the brink of death so to speak, and have come back telling their fascinating stories. Most of us however, will not have that kind of opportunity; we will have to wait until it is 'our time' when we come to the end of our life here.

The Bible tells us that in order to 'get into Heaven', we must receive our Salvation - we need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9 says "If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved." What are we being saved from? We are being saved from spending an eternity in Hell. Praise God!

A lot of people, some of them Christians, believe that because they are nice people and because they do good things like donating money to charities, helping the needy and are kind to their families and neighbours, that this is their 'ticket' to Heaven. Whilst it is very admirable to do good deeds for our fellow humans, this alone is not enough to guarantee our salvation. Ephesians 2:8 states "For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it."

It is true that as Christians, we have a certain moral code of conduct to live by, and certainly God loves it when we do kind and noble deeds, however, it is by our faith and our acceptance and love of our Lord Jesus Christ as our saviour that we shall be given eternal life.

Salvation is available for all. It is written in Romans 10:13 TNIV "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." That includes you and me! What a wondrous opportunity we are being given!

So what is Heaven like? As mentioned earlier, there have been many descriptions from people whom have crossed over and been shown glimpses. At the moment of death, there seems to be a common experience, that of either seeing a brilliant light, of course beyond any earthly comprehension, and then of loved ones coming to greet the person into Heaven. Some have even experienced waiting outside the pearly gates.

It is written in Genesis 28:17 NKJV 'And he was afraid and said, "this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!" This was after a dream Jacob had in which the Lord was telling him all about the very many descendants he will be given. Genesis 28:12 NKJV says "then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."

People have also been documented to have experienced seeing the most vividly beautiful and dazzling colours; colours that we don't even experience here on Earth!

Some have experienced a complete and utter joy unparalleled to anything they have experienced on Earth even in their happiest moments. People recount having seen their loved ones, who were very sick, renewed with healthy and youthful bodies. It is written in Philippians 3:20-21 NKJV "for our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."

Some people have experienced hearing glorious heavenly music and sounds of continual joyous praise and worship for God the Father! Revelations 5:11-12 NLT says 'then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered - to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.' Sounds like one great big celebration doesn't it?

Jesus, when he was dying on the Cross, described Heaven as 'Paradise' to one on the criminals who was also dying alongside of Him. Luke 23:43 says 'And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

Some very fortunate people have even been allowed to experience Heaven inside the pearly gates and have described beautiful scenery, cities and riches beyond belief, and even of meeting Jesus Himself, however, it is not for the scope of this text to go into it here.

Whilst we don't know what it is to be given the opportunity to see Heaven, these claims are all about seeing for yourself the beauty and the joy of living on Earth with the promise of a future place in Eternity. God's love will see to it. All you need do is to commit now to a life with Jesus and you will find all the treasures you need for this life and into the next. This is my promise to you. Amen.

PS  One final thing, if the truth be told about how it is to be for you when you go to Heaven, you would want it now! There is much to be enjoyed in this place called Heaven - unending peace, freedom from all pain, suffering and sorrow, an absolute understanding of what it is to be loved in totality, and an experience of complete and utter bliss and joy that is unfathomable. This is what Heaven is like! Amen.

Glory be to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, whom I believe have gifted me with these words for you today. Amen and Amen!
