Hope Brings Peace

As I watched the TV this morning, I became aware of the great many tragedies that are occurring all over the world. From the point of view of a concerned Christian, it is hard to see such sorrow and despair written all over the faces of the human beings who have lost their families, their homes and their possessions.

Of course it is hard for Christians and non-Christians alike. But who are we to judge? We cannot know the reasons for this. All we know is that God is in control. He knows all the facts – things which may be hidden under the surface.

I have learned so for that things are never quite as they seem, and that all things fit together to form God’s plan. The more we think we understand, the more we discover there are many things that we have yet to learn.

One thing is for certain though. He is going to fulfil His plans for us here on this Earth. Undoubtedly, we are to remain firm in His ways and not give in to fear. Fear as we know, is not from God – it is from Satan. 2 Tim 1:7 NKJV “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

We must remain confident that all things are working together for our good. Our faith is what we have to hang onto during these troublesome times. Faith triumphs in trouble! Romans 5:1-5 NKJV “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

When we see things from this perspective, we are able to come to the conclusion that we are not to live according to what we see. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” We must rise up above all the bad news that is filtering through to us on a daily basis. This is how we can remain peaceful and not get carried away by our emotions. Philippians 5:6-7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

All things considered, we should try to accept that the final plan for God to bring His glorious new Kingdom to Earth is in place, and we will know such joy and wonder once this has happened! We will be home with our Lord Jesus Christ to the fulfilment of His promise prophesied in Revelation. Revelation 21:10 NKJV “And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God.”

Naturally, we do not know how long we have left. There are many theories out there, and I’m not about to expound on them. Perhaps it is sooner rather than later, sometime in the near future – or perhaps it will happen in another 1000 years! Who knows? But one thing is for sure, God will see to it that everyone who has their names written in the Lambs Book of Life will all be gathered together into His open loving arms, and it will not eventuate until every last soul who is meant to be saved – is saved! So be it. Come, Lord Jesus! Amen.

PS Revelation 21:24 NKJV “And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.” Amen

All praise and glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe as always have guided me with these words herein. Amen.

All Aboard The Gravy Train!

All aboard! This is the call for you my friends. When we see all manner of things come to pass, we shall be truly delighted, because we will know that it is our Lord Jesus at work for us in our lives. When we seek, we shall find, no holds barred. We will be rewarded for our time spent in prayer, and in diligence, and we will come to know that the time is right to be filled with the Joy of the Lord! Amen!

Truth, in its many layers, has filtered into your days, and you have become one with the Lord’s will. His mercy has shone upon your life, and he has shown you His grace and love. This is what it’s all about!

There will come a time that you will see many wonderful miracles and blessings occurring all around you. This comes as a result of doing God’s will, from allowing Him to rule supreme in your hearts and lives, and from being obedient to His laws and commands. This I tell you, is a time like no other, you will be led on an amazing journey to the fulfilment of your hearts desires!

Finally you will see all your efforts rewarded. When this happens, others will see you for who you really are in Christ. You will be a magnificent masterpiece sculptured by the hands of God. He will see to it that you are nourished both spiritually and physically, and your family and friends will all benefit as a result. Proverbs 4:18 TNIV says “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

This is how we may know that we are indeed on the right path. Things that you had hoped for in what seems like a million years ago are all happening around you! Amazing it will be to you to discover your dreams coming true. How you might say can this be true? You will believe it because you will see it with your very own eyes! Psalm 84:11 TNIV says “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favour and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”

When others begin to see the fulfilment of your dreams, they will begin to question themselves as to why this is so. They will say to themselves, ‘This person is a Christian - perhaps there is something valid in that way of life after all!’ What a glorious example you will be when that happens. They will see the great love of Christ in your eyes, and at work in both you and your families. Praise God! Psalm 37:4 TNIV says “Take delight in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this. He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.”

Please be assured that by no means does this exempt you from your responsibilities to live a disciplined life in service to the LORD. No! Of course not! What it does mean though, is that you will be rewarded for your efforts and diligence to live a life in Christ according to His will and purposes for you, and that through your loyalty to His ways, you will come to see many if not all of your dreams come to pass...So be it. Amen.

PS Psalm 16:11 TNIV says “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”

All glory for these words goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always, have gifted them to me for you. Praise God.

Good News and Supreme Living!

There comes a time in everyone’s life where they must reassess the direction in which they are travelling. Sometimes, one must face the fact that their current choices are not at all in their best interests. God wants to use you now! He wants you to be headed in the right direction to enable His plans to come to fruition in your life. He wants you in perfect alignment with His Will; so that He can deliver you to the great many blessings He has planned for you.

We must stop and take a look at whether or not what we have planned is going to be compatible with what God wants for us. We must willingly submit our plans into God’s hands and wait to see what happens next. When we do this, it opens the gateway towards things that in Earthly terms seem impossible. Where there’s a will there’s a way – and it is God’s Will and God’s Way that will have you coming out on top! Deuteronomy 28:13 TNIV says “The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”

What happens next is going to amaze you! You will be led down the path of deliverance towards a new style of existence. One that is no longer of the Earthly statutes and regulations. It is a life of miracles and blessings – one after the other! Take the first step and you will see for yourself. You don’t need to take my word for it!

In order to attain this new level of existence, there are certain laws and guidelines one must follow. There are blessings that come to us through our obedience and adherence to these laws. These laws have been given to us as a means of protection and salvation. They are our ‘armour’ in times of trouble. They are of course, The Ten Commandments.

Deuteronomy 5:7-21

1. Worship no god but me.
2. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it.
3. Do not use my name for evil purposes.
4. Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.
5. Respect your father and mother.
6. Do not commit murder.
7. Do not commit adultery.
8. Do not steal.
9. Do not accuse anyone falsely.
10. Do not desire another man’s wife; do not desire his house, his land, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.

Begin by taking a personal inventory of your own dealings, and with the commands that God has given you, one by one, start making the necessary changes and adjustments to your style of living and thinking, and then watch as your whole life is transformed right before your very eyes! Bit by bit, piece by piece, you will see the Master at work, preparing you to receive all that is rightfully yours. You will be given your ‘Greater Destiny’, and not the boring and trouble-filled life of so many in this current age. This is the good news that the Lord has for you today – this, my friend is Supreme Living at its best!

Deuteronomy 7:12-15 says “If you listen to these commands and obey them faithfully, then the LORD your God will continue to keep his covenant with you and will show you his constant love, as he promised your ancestors. He will love you and bless you, so that you will increase in number and have many children; he will bless the ground for you, so that you will have grain, wine, and olive oil; and he will bless you by giving you many cattle and sheep. He will give you all these blessings in the land that he promised your ancestors he would give to you. No people in the world will be as richly blessed as you. None of you nor any of your livestock will be sterile. The LORD will protect you from all sickness, and he will not bring on you any of the dreadful diseases that you experienced in Egypt, but he will bring them on all your enemies.”

May the LORD your God deliver you to all your blessings, and may you become all that you’re meant to be, in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

PS 1 Thessalonians 5:24 TLB says “God, who called you to become his child, will do all this for you, just as he promised.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe as always, have guided me with these words for you today. Amen and God bless...

Ripe For Harvest

When you see the truth for what it is one comes to a certain understanding. The one thing which settles all disputes is the love of God. Arguments have a way of undermining the most beneficial of friendships. They can reap havoc in the most solid of marriages. When we see and understand this, we can do something about it. Put the love of God into any situation and see for yourself the magic begin!

I say magic because what really occurs between a couple that has the love of God between them, is to say the least, miraculous! It can turn a marriage, a friendship, a business partnership, or even a partnership of any kind into a well-watered garden, producing the ripest of fruits for harvest!

James 3:17-18 says “But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle, and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy. And goodness is the harvest that is produced from the seeds the peacemakers plant in peace.”

Peace of mind is what you can achieve when you allow the love of God into your hearts. He will deliver you from all uncertainty while you wait quietly in His presence. May the love of God fill all the aches and hurts in your hearts! I say this to you as a prayer that has just come down from the Heavens. Peace, love and enlightenment can all be yours. It is only a stone’s throw away now. Turn your hearts and minds to God and watch for the ripening. A fresh start is available for all!

1 John 4:16 says “God is love, and those who live in love live in union with God and God lives in union with them.” One must understand that from chaos and confusion, comes peace when you hand over your life to God. Colossians 3:15 NKJV says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

Allow God to transport you to a place where there is no hurt or angst. Let Him be the one to soothe your hearts and minds. Talk to God. Tell Him how you are feeling. Ask His forgiveness. He is gentle and kind and will show mercy to all who ask. Please find within you, the courage to call upon Him – you will not be disappointed! Deuteronomy 31:6 NKJV says “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

When I say that you are going to be filled with love and joy, remember His final words to you as he was dying on the cross. John 19:30 NKJV “It is finished.” Because of His finished work on the cross, we are now all free to live the joyous and wonderful lives filled with the blessings that God intended for us right from the beginning. Be free and enjoy your new life in Christ! Amen.

PS Psalm 103:8 says “The LORD is merciful and loving, slow to become angry and full of constant love.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have directed me with these words today. Amen.
