Stand On The Word!

There are times in our daily lives, where we are confronted with many decisions. This way or that – do I choose this way or the other. This can be quite unsettling when one considers just how many options we have every minute! When these times come upon us, what we really need to do is become still and ask the Lord what He would have us do. This way, any further steps we take will be directed by the Lord. It is written Psalm 46:10 NKJV “Be still, and know that I am God.”

There are many options available to us in these very busy lives we live. One has to be certain that they are choosing the most beneficial choices in line with what God’s Will is for us. If in doubt, always reach for the Bible. The Bible tells us what it is we need to do in all the very many and sometimes troubling situations around us. When we do this, we can be sure to attain the information we need in order to move forward in safety, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty. It is written Psalm 91:1 KJV “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

God wants to prosper you. He wants you to be used to your full potential. He wants you to receive your blessings in full so that you can be a blessing to others. It is written 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 TNIV “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.”

Satan on the other hand, knows what you are capable of. You are mighty and powerful in the Kingdom of God, and he will do anything to try to prevent you from claiming what is rightfully yours. You must take a stand and claim your inheritance in the Lord. As precious children of God, your rights are many! It is written Psalm 37:28-29 NKJV “For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.”

The Word is a rich and powerful resource for us to use and apply to our daily lives accordingly. When we obey God’s commands, and live in line with what His Word says, we are like trees planted near a stream, with our roots drinking in nourishment for us to grow and prosper, even in times of hardship and drought. It is written Psalm 1:3 TNIV “They are like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers.”

The fruit is plentiful for those who believe and live God’s Word. When we yield to the Will of God in our lives, and live in accordance with what the Bible says, we will grow and prosper in His Kingdom, bearing much fruit to the glory of His Majesty. In fact, the Bible says we shall know them by their fruit. It is written Matthew 7:17-20 NKJV “Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” Amen.

All glory as always goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have inspired me with these words herein.

PS While we wait before the Lord for deliverance and for His promises to become a reality in our lives, we must wait with patience, hope, and endurance and with trust and faith in our hearts, and the Lord will make our righteousness shine like the midday sun! It is written Psalm 37:5-6 TNIV “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.” Praise God and Hallelujah to the King! Amen!
