Living Under The Protection Of The Almighty

When He hears our cry, our Father in Heaven looks upon us with love, grace and mercy. In answer to our prayers, sometimes He takes delight in giving us immediate answers, and sometimes He makes us wait. When this happens, it is for good reason – only He knows what is going on behind the scenes.

Most of the time though, what appears to be delays are only in fact His solutions that we have yet to recognise or acknowledge. We must trust that all our prayers are being answered, all according to God’s will for us. Hosea 14:8 says “I will answer their prayers and take care of them. Like an evergreen tree I will shelter them; I am the source of all their blessings.”

When faced with life’s uncertainties, if we look to God for our answers, He will guide us step by step along the path we must travel. Psalm 121:8 says “He will protect you as you come and go now and for ever.” If we could only see the wonderful orchestration of His plans for us, we would all be amazed!

God is the supreme ruler. He is ruler of the Heavens and Earth, and of all the powers and authorities. He is the one that has the final say in everything. Proverbs 19:21 says “People may plan all kinds of things, but the LORD’S will is going to be done.”

People may try to hurt you, but in the end, they will get what’s coming! We do not need to concern ourselves with this. God deals with people in a most loving way, and it is not up to us to seek vengeance of any kind. Deuteronomy 32:35 NKJV says “Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them!”

God wants you to understand something here. He will never leave or forsake you while you call to Him for help. This is just not His way at all. His way is for you to live confidently amidst all the trials and tribulations of this world, knowing full well that He is taking care of things for you. This is promised to us in Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV ‘For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

When one understands the enormity of this promise made out of love for us, we shall become knowledgeable in the ways of the Kingdom. The further one walks upon this path of life, one begins to see all the answers coming to fruition. It all begins to unfold like a beautiful love story between man and his maker. Revelation 3:20 NKJV says “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

Let nothing stop you my friends, from walking the path of salvation. If you do, you will never get to experience the beauty and majesty of living a life filled with promises fulfilled, both here and in all eternity. Psalm 91:15-16 NKJV says “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

You will see the glory of His Kingdom come into your lives and into your homes, if you receive Jesus into your heart today. He is a faithful God, and His promises hold true. Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV says “Therefore know that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.”

It doesn’t matter what is going on around you, whether it be a recession, poverty, broken marriages and friendships, family quarrels, job losses, unpaid bills and mortgages, sicknesses and health problems. If you go to the LORD for safety, and you love him and acknowledge Him as LORD, then you shall live under the protection of the Almighty forever and ever! Amen.

PS Psalm 91:1-4 says ‘Whoever goes to the LORD for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty, can say to him, “You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.” He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. He will cover you with His wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you.’ Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have guided me and instructed me with these words. May God bless you and keep you. Amen.

Christianity In Full Swing

Regardless of our commitment to ‘the faith’, at times we need to take a look at how we conduct ourselves as Christians. There is a certain requirement as Christians, and that is to love. Sounds basic doesn’t it? Well, sometimes with all the trials in life, we allow ourselves to get bogged down with day to day living and responsibilities. If we are to become fully-fledged Christians, then we are to commit ourselves fully to this path. We must aim to walk as Jesus did.

We must demonstrate to others what the walk of faith is all about. They must see for themselves all the good reasons why they should explore a relationship with the Lord and become Christians themselves. The key here is to set the example of how one should live in union with Jesus. The key is Jesus! Colossians 2:2-3 says “I do this in order that they may be filled with courage and may be drawn together in love, and so have the full wealth of assurance which true understanding brings. In this way they will know God’s secret, which is Christ himself. He is the key that opens all the hidden treasures of God’s wisdom and knowledge.”

When we see how this works, we will have gained all the knowledge necessary on how to create a life worth living in harmony with the gospel. We will at times come into contact with those who are living a life less ordinary. It is written in Colossians 3:12-14 “You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another whenever any of you has a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one another just as the Lord has forgiven you. And to all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity.”

God wants us to be a demonstration of what Christianity is really about. It requires much effort on your part to remain firm and committed to the truth. There are many distractions that are part of living here on Earth, that have a way of redirecting our attention elsewhere.

We need to constantly remember that Jesus lives within us, and we must refocus our attention back to Him. With all the noise and clutter that act as constant intrusions, it is sometimes quite challenging to do this. We must train ourselves to live in close communion with the Lord. The more we practice this, the easier it becomes. We find ourselves living more closely with Him, and coming to Him with all of our decisions and choices. Colossians 3:15-17 says “The peace that Christ gives is to guide you in the decisions you make; for it is to this peace that God has called you together in the one body. And be thankful. Christ’s message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct one another with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Everything you do or say, then, should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father. Amen.

PS Colossians 2:6-7 says “Since you have accepted Christ Jesus as Lord, live in union with him. Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives on him, and become stronger in your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have guided me with these words. Amen.

The Truth According To God's Word

When you walk in trust, two things will happen. You will be led on an amazing journey filled with miracles and blessings, and others will see for themselves the kind of life you can have when you give yourself over to the Lord. God has great things planned for you and me. Things which we cannot even begin to imagine!

If you’ve already been walking in the truth then you will know and understand that you may have come so far on your own, but it has indeed been the Lord that has carried you the rest of the way.

We cannot achieve anything by our own efforts - anything of any lasting value that is. Of course, faith without works is dead. James 2:15-16 NKJV says ‘If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.’

Living by faith means that you will sow your seed and then believe and expect it to germinate. Depending upon the state of the ground, that is your level of faith and trust, you will begin to see new growth. Matthew 13:20-23 says “The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they hear it. But it does not sink deep into them, and they don’t last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once. The seeds that fell among thornbushes stand for those who hear the message; but the worries about this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don’t bear fruit. And the seeds sown in the good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it: they bear fruit, some as much as a hundred, others sixty, and others thirty.”

Don’t be like the ones who sowed their seeds in rocky ground or amongst the thornbushes. Be like the ones who planted in the good soil, and receive your blessings as much as a hundred!

Absorb the word. Read it daily or as much as possible. Take it into your very being and understand its meaning. Live it. Walk it. Breathe it. Eat it. Sleep it! If you do this you cannot help but bear much fruit.

Jesus is the vine. John 15:5 says “I am the vine, and you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will bear a great deal of fruit; for you can do nothing without me. Verses 7-8 go on to say “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, then you will ask for anything you wish, and you shall have it. My Father’s glory is shown by your bearing a lot of fruit; and in this way you become my disciples.”

So go on, get into God’s word and start becoming fruitful for God. The more fruit we bear, the more glory will go to our Heavenly Father! Amen.

PS Our Father in Heaven has chosen us to do great things in the name of Jesus! John 14:12-13 states “I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do -– yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.” Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have guided me as always with these words. Amen.

The Fruits of the Spirit

Love seems to be the topic on everyone’s lips. There are many stories, poems, movies and songs written about love. It is what each and every heart desires. When we give love, we are sowing a seed, which germinates and eventually blossoms and returns to us fulfilled.

God’s word is love. His word never returns back to us void, which means that with every promise, he will personally see to it that it reaches back to us in its conclusion. Isaiah 55:11 NKJV says “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void. But it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

Joy is not just a feeling. It is a state of mind that can be reached through serving and walking with Jesus. Joy comes to you when you know who you are in Christ. Once you know who you really are in the Kingdom of God, you simply cannot help but be joyful! Isaiah NKJV 65:14 says “Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart.”

Peace is what you get when you wholeheartedly follow Jesus trusting Him to take care of all your needs. With Jesus in charge of our daily lives, everything turns out according to His wondrous plans He has for us. Romans 5:1-2 NKJV says “Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

Patience is what we must have when standing on the promises of God. His word is true and faithful, and it is only going to be a matter of time before He makes your dreams come true. Isaiah 30:18 TNIV “Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him!”

Kindness is what we must seek to bear witness to the everlasting love of God. Be kind to yourself and others, and live accordingly in the House of God. He will see your efforts to be true and as such reward you in your diligence. 2 Corinthians 6:6 says “By our purity, knowledge, patience, and kindness we have shown ourselves to be God’s servants.”

Goodness is what you experience when you come to understand the very nature and heart of God. He will see to it that you are shown goodness and mercy for all the days of your life, once you find in yourself the true meaning of what it is to be of one mind with God’s will. Psalm 84:11 TNIV says “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favour and honor, no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.

Faithfulness is what you see when you entrust your very life into the hands of God almighty. He will see you through every storm and calamity so that you shall indeed come out on top! You will have success in all you do. 2 Corinthians TNIV 9:10 says “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

Humility is what you must show one another, so that God can bestow His favour upon you. This is how He wants us to comport ourselves within the Body of Christ. 1 Peter 5:5-6 TNIV says ‘All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because “God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble and oppressed. “ Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.’

Self-control comes to those who are ‘practiced’ in God’s word. It comes with the maturity in His teachings and the knowledge that we are being taken care of until the day we die. Titus 1:7-9 says “Since an overseer manages God’s household, he must be blameless – not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather, he must be hospitable, one who lives what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.” Amen.

PS Galations 5:22-23 says “But the spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.” When we walk in the spirit, we can be fruitful for God, allowing Him to fulfil His great many purposes through us, in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

As always, all glory for these writings go to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have guided my hand today. Amen.

Are You Ready!

Are you ready to let God’s word transform your life? Well then, read on and let the transformation begin! When you speak God’s word about something, you automatically begin to unleash His glorious power into whatever it is you are trying to achieve. The wings of prayer deliver the message into the Heavens and then Father God sets His plans in motion.

To be able to carry out such great feats of achievement, one has to make application to the Father, and then He is able to act accordingly on our behalf. Ultimately God always has the final say in all things in the Heavens and on the Earth, but bear in mind He has gifted us with a certain amount of free will, enabling us to go in our own directions, albeit temporarily, if we choose. This is why we must ‘petition’ Him to step in and take the reins.

We cannot possibly achieve what He can in any situation, so it is always in our best interest to surrender to His will, thus allowing Him to instigate whatever chain of events required that will create the outcome of our desire.

We must humble ourselves and totally rely upon Him to set the wheels in motion. There is a lot going on behind the scenes – things that we cannot even begin to comprehend. Much wrestling goes on behind the curtain with the powers of darkness. A great deal of the battles is against the principalities and not each other. Ephesians 6:12 NKJV says “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of the heavenly places.”

God’s word is there for us to use. It is referred to in Ephesians 6:17 as the ‘sword of the spirit.’ We need to apply by means of our voices His truths to whatever situation we are facing, and this will eliminate any obstacles that may be standing in our way to achieving our accomplishments.

Whenever we deliver forth a truth from our mouths, it cuts away all entanglements that the Devil is trying to put on you and your loved ones. He may try even harder to fight you, but you have God and His word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword!

God is the creator of Heaven and Earth, and with Him on your side you can only win! Yes that’s right! You will win every battle with God behind you – that’s for sure! 1 John 5:4-5 NKJV says “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”

When things seem to be running off course, you can set them straight again by activating God’s mighty power through His word. By finding His plan for you in the Bible, you can then apply it and watch for the turnaround. Many lives are transformed this way and if you take heed of this advice, yours will too!

We can only begin to receive all the bountiful promises God has lined up for us by claiming them. The Devil doesn’t want you to have them, but God does, and that is why He has equipped you and me with His word in the Bible.

Every time we speak God’s word, it knocks over another demon. They are simply no match for God! Whenever you are tempted to give in or feel sorry for yourself, as we all so often have done, open up the Bible and start speaking forth His truth! If you don’t, you might miss out on the biggest opportunity of your lifetime, and that is to create, by the power of God, the life you so richly deserve!

Go on, be everything you can be, and claim all that God has for you, and you will never be the same again! That’s a promise! Amen.

PS Isaiah 55:10-11 “My word is like the snow and the rain that come down from the sky to water the earth. They make the crops grow and provide seed for planting and food to eat. So also will be the word that I speak – it will not fail to do what I plan for it; it will do everything I send it to do.” Amen.

All glory for these words goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit whom as always, have guided my hand. Amen.

Peace and Restoration

Most of us would like a life of peace and tranquillity, although it seems at times, that the harder we strive for it, the more we are faced with situations that take away the very thing we want – and that is peace! Jesus wants us to be peaceful and contented in all situations without letting worry or fear affect our ability to stay calm in the midst of the storms.

In the Bible, it tells of an occasion where Jesus was in a boat with his disciples, and a great tempest suddenly arose on the sea and covered the boat with waves. Jesus was asleep, and His disciples started to panic, so they woke Him up. Matthew 8:26 NKJV ‘But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.’

Wouldn’t it have been great to have lived in Jesus’ time? Imagine actually living during the times when He was alive, and witnessing for ourselves the miraculous things He did!

If Jesus can make the winds and sea obey Him with a simple command, then surely we can put our faith and trust in Him to deliver and protect us from whatever storms are threatening to approach us. He wants us to show our faith in Him by not panicking like His disciples in the boat did, and by being content in all circumstances with the knowledge that we are being taken care of. Philippians 4:11 TNIV “for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”

The Apostle Paul goes on to explain how he can be content no matter what his circumstances are, by the very fact that it is Jesus who gives him the strength he needs to cope with whatever is happening to him. Philippians 4:13 AMP says “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me. I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency.]”

We know that He is indeed sovereign and that He will delight in making our dreams come true. We know this because He gave His life for us, so that we would be redeemed from every possible misfortune that would befall us in this life. He needs you to come to Him with everything so that He can create for you the life you deserve.

We need to be thankful and give Him praise at all times, despite whether or not this is logical. These are supernatural responses which receive supernatural results! He is the God Almighty! He is the host of hosts! Psalm 46:7 NKJV says “The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge.”

When we come to Him in the midst of all our trials, thanking Him for being in control, we shall experience much joy and peace in knowing that we can take our hands off the situation, and just sit back and relax while He leads us to a place of peace and restoration. Psalm 23:2-3 NKJV says “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His names sake.”

This and more He will do for you, for you are His chosen ones. He will deliver you from all transgressions, and will give you a peace of mind that can only be attained through Christ Himself. It is written in John 14:27 NKJV “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.”

To me, the name Jesus implies peace. If you look back at His life on Earth despite what was going on, He maintained an attitude of peace while faithfully obeying His Father in Heaven, right to the very end of His life. Even despite knowing what was about to happen to Him on the cross at Calvary, Jesus prayed according to Luke 22:42 NKJV “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours be done.” He still prayed for our Fathers will to be done and not His! He was faithful even to His last breath! All so that we could have life and have it abundantly! All this He did for you.

When you are seeking peace, look to Jesus. Gently whisper His name as a sign of your commitment to the truth, and you will be led on a journey of complete transformation. You will be taking the first vital steps towards your new life on the Road to Holiness. So be it, come Lord Jesus! Isaiah 35:8 says NLT “And a highway will be there, it will be called ‘The Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it. No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there, and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” Amen.

PS Colossians NKJV 4:3 says “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body and be thankful.” That is my prayer for you. Amen.

Thank you to the Father, Son and The Holy Spirit whom I believe as always have gifted me with these words to you today. Amen.

Relinquishing Your Control

This is what faith is all about. It is about giving over the reins to Jesus and allowing Him to rule over your life and heart. When we willingly and actively entrust our plans and situations to Him we will see much happening within our lives that we could not possibly achieve without Him.

We all like to think and believe that we are in control of what we do with our lives, and to some extent, with the use of our free will given us, this can be somewhat the case in the interim, but the truth is, in the long run, it is God who decides what will occur.

When we realise this, we can stop fighting and pushing against the tide, and begin to move in the direction of what God is doing for us. This actually gives us much freedom! It frees us up to enjoy ourselves more, trusting our Lord to take care of all the details.

It’s kind of like having a ‘Divine Intercessor’, paving the way for His wondrous and exciting adventures that He longs to give us. Hebrews 7:25 AMP says “Therefore He is able to also save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.”

What a wonderful life we can have, when we allow God to do His mighty works in us and in the lives of those around us. When we become servants of the Lord, a whole new world of opportunity opens up for us. It is when we start asking Him what He wants us to do in our situations, and even in our daily lives, much can and will be achieved through us.

There are many fringe benefits to this way of living. Our lives begin to flow smoothly and we experience more joy in our days. We begin to flourish in all that we do. People see a peace and contentment in us that they cannot put their finger on. Our demeanours become more relaxed as we settle into the ways of the Almighty, all the while trusting Him and giving all our cares to Him.

He sustains us and keeps us on a more balanced footing. He is the rock of the ages! Psalm 31:3 AMP says “Yes, You are my Rock and my Fortress; therefore for Your names sake lead me and guide me.”

Our lives begin to take on new meaning and we reach a certain level of fulfilment in every area of our lives. There is no more questioning this and questioning that; instead we believe that whatever is happening to us is for the betterment of ourselves and our families. In other words, we put our complete trust in God.

When we start living more and more according to the Lord’s will, our will becomes His will, and everything begins to line up and come together to form a brilliant masterpiece. A pattern of reliance is formed that can only be described as complete and utter bliss. Our confidence increases as we become more and more attuned to His ways. Isaiah 55:9 NKJV says “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And my thoughts than your thoughts.”

When you feel compelled to do this or that, or go here or there, you must trust that our Lord is guiding you to a specific task or action. You must do your best to follow His promptings in order to achieve or experience what He has planned for you. If you ignore the prompting and choose to exercise your own free will, you will simply miss out on whatever blessing He has in store. And there are always blessings when we do the work the Lord has set aside for us.

The Lord is a Lord of second chances. He will never give up on you until your last breath! Matthew 28:20 NKJV says “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

PS Jesus is our shepherd and we are His flock. He will gather us all up into His protective care, and we will hear and recognise His voice when He calls us. John 10:4 NLT says “After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.”

All glory for these writings goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe anointed me with these words for you today. Amen.

The Lord's Perfection

One day, you will get up in the morning to discover that everything in your life has come together to form a beautiful and finished tapestry. This is the Lord’s perfection at work for you in your life. It comes as a result of knowing Him intimately, and from living according to His perfect will for you. This is when the enjoyment of the fruits of your labours begins, and is a time that many people can only dream about! This is when you can sit back and say, Thy kingdom has come, Thy will is being done, in Earth as it is in Heaven! (Refer Matthew 6:10 KJV.)

You will experience Heaven on Earth and you will be a glorious example and an inspiration to those around you. This is where many, many things start to come to fruition. It is a time of celebration for you as you now reap the bounty of His harvest. You have trusted, you have waited, you have lived and breathed God’s word into all of your situations, and you have learned to stand firm in your faith during trails and difficulties.

Some of you may say that it all sounds too good to be true, whilst others may say, ‘well, how do I get there from here?’ As you grow and mature in God’s word, you will find that you come to rely on Him for everything. You will not only live according to His will in your life, but you will come to learn how to apply His word into your everyday situations in order to live out the very best that God has in store for you. Deuteronomy 28:12 AMP says “The Lord shall open to you His good treasury, the heavens, to give you the rain of your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands; and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

Of course there will always be situations around you that will test your faith, but in time you will develop your faith muscles and you will know how to apply it and then stand firm in any event. There are many factors that can hinder your progress, among them being other peoples free will which can inadvertently affect what you are trying to achieve, but if you hold firm and place all your trust in the Lord, He will always work out everything for your good. It is written in Romans 8:28 AMP “We are assured and know that (God being a partner in their labour) all things work together and are (fitting into a plan) for good to and for those who love God and are called according to (His) design and purpose.”

Besides that, as a result of the changes in you, you will begin to see changes in your nearest and dearest, and eventually everyone will be on board! Acts 16:31 NKJV states “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” How good is that!

For those who are just beginning this journey, you will need to start reading God’s word in the Bible and see what it says about your particular situation. Do this with every issue that comes up, even the small things, and you will begin to automatically know what to say and do when presented with any obstacles. It is then just a matter of standing firm, and not losing faith that whatever you hope for will come about!

That’s it! It’s easy when you know how! There is no limit to what can be achieved for you in this life. God is ready and waiting to transform your life from the ordinary to the extraordinary. He did this for me, and He will do it for you too! Praise God!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit whom I believe has very generously provided me with these words herein. Praise God! Amen.

PS If you let Him, the Lord will open doors for you that only He can open, and shut the doors to your past, thereby releasing you from the ties that have bound you for so many years! Revelations 3:7 says “This is the message from the one who is holy and true. He has the key that belonged to David, and when he opens a door, no one can close it, and when he closes it, no one can open it.” Amen!

God's Providence

When faced with life’s many challenges, it is wise to commit your future into the hands of the Almighty. As you go forth into your day, it is good practice to sit quietly with the Lord just being there in His presence. This will enable you to fill yourself with God’s strength and vigour, thus supplying you with all the necessary ingredients you may need for that particular day.

It is very pleasing to the Lord when you do this, and He will not only surround you with His love and joy, He will also supply all your needs for whatever is to come your way during the next 24 hours. Phil 4:19 TNIV says “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

When you get into a regular pattern of doing this, you will experience much joy and peace throughout your days, and this will serve to not only enlighten you to the many truths that are relevant to your current situation, it will allow you to fulfil the plans that God has for you at that particular point in time. John 15:5 AMP “I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from me (cut off from vital union with Me) you can do nothing.”

You will be well equipped with much knowledge and power to fulfil your destiny. God will see to this for you. He speaks His will to us into our hearts and our thoughts, and we then know how to proceed with the situations and experiences that come our way. He sends His Holy Spirit to guide us and inform us in the many different activities that we encounter each day. Psalm 37:4 NKJV says “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

When we come to understand the significance of the role that the Lord plays in our daily lives, we will have achieved much, knowing that our lives should be fulfilled by the very promises of God Himself. With every seed planted, we will reap a harvest, and it is God who is in charge of our harvest. God sees to it that the plant grows and thrives in whatever conditions it meets, and it will come to be according to His will. It is written in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 NKJV 6”I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.”

It is God who in His wisdom, oversees our paths and directs us as to which steps to take. If we put our trust in Him wholly and completely, we will find ourselves gaining momentum with each step we take, and all the while reaping the many benefits of allowing Him to rule in our hearts and lives. “Deuteronomy 6:4 states “The LORD—and the LORD alone—is our God.”

The truth of the matter is that we cannot do it alone. There are many pitfalls along the path, and it can become quite treacherous when we do not allow God’s favour to shine upon us. We as humans need to understand that we do not have all the answers, and there are many, many more questions than answers that come about as a result of disregarding the Lord’s purpose in our lives.

We must look to the Bible as our source of strength and information which tells us what God’s will for us is in most every situation that can possibly arise in this life. We must seek His face always and in the midst of trials we will come to know that He is in charge and that we are being safely guided home to shore.

Take time alone, away from the hustle and bustle, to sit quietly with the Lord as much as possible, and you will begin to see small changes at first, but they will grow in number, and many lives will be changed as a result. This will help you to cope with the never ending barrage of stuff happening around you and will strengthen both you and your faith.

Keep a record of these changes however small, and when you look back on them, you will be delighted to see that you have indeed been guided by the hand of God, and made a living example of what His word is all about! Amen!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, whom I believe, as always, has guided my hand with these writings for you. Amen.

PS Tell all your friends, and tell them to pass this on so that they too shall get to know and experience the joy and strength of getting to know our Lord Jesus Christ! Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” Amen!

God's Perfect Timing

Timing is everything! That is, God’s timing of course. Sometimes, things can get a bit rocky on the path of righteousness, and we can get quite a bit impatient whilst we wait for our hopes and plans to come to fruition. It’s only natural as human beings to desire that which we believe will bring us joy and success, and of course we want it right now! When we surrender all of our hopes and wishes to the Lord, we can await with certainty that He will act on our behalf at exactly the right timing.

He will place the right people or circumstances in our path at the most beneficial times, so that we may come to experience the fullness of His grace upon us. We cannot possibly understand all the intricate details which must come together for us to achieve His will and purposes in our lives. Only He can see what lies ahead of us in our journey, and only He knows just what is needed to make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 TNIV says 5”Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

We must never rely on our own judgement because with our limited perspective and understanding, we are certain to miss out on some very important steps along the way. All of the pieces of the puzzle must first come together in order to create the finished picture! It is written in John 5:14 NKJV “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” All we need to do is to walk in this truth, following His guidance wherever it may lead.

We need to have faith and patience that our God will indeed come through for us! We must think and behave in such a way that demonstrates that we believe this with all our hearts. No matter where the road may lead, if we surrender to God’s plans for us, we will be led on an amazing journey with blessings, blessings and more blessings. This I know to be true, because I have seen it with my own eyes. I have experienced my own life being transformed in ways that are miraculous to say the least.

Only the Lord knows the plans He has for us, and all we need do is to allow Him to orchestrate everything. If we do this, our lives will become beautiful symphonies. Jeremiah 29:11 says “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” When faced with obstacles, we must rely on God to lead us around them in the safest way possible.

Sometimes we get delayed on a particular route we are taking, and we must realise that this may well be to our advantage. We must remember that this is all happening according to God’s timing and not ours. God’s delays are not necessarily God’s denials! The more we trust in Him to execute His perfect plans for us, the more we find Him to be reliable for us. We have no need to fear because He is with us and guiding us at all times. Psalm 121:7-8 says 7 “The Lord will protect you from all danger; he will keep you safe. 8 He will protect you as you come and go now and for ever.”

When you least expect it, God will come through for you, and you will be left thinking, ‘wow, this is amazing! This has turned out much better than I expected!’ And when this does happen for you, and it will, you must give thanks to Almighty God for carrying you through the rough waters and onto dry land again! Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always, directed me with these words here. Amen.

PS Even when it seems as though you are in an impossible situation, remember that every day is a new day, and that miracles happen all the time! It is written in Lamentations 3:22-23 TNIV 22”Because of the LORD’S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” May the love of the Lord be with you all both night and day... Amen!

Rejoice and Be Merry!

When the world is telling you that you can’t have this dream, or that dream here’s what you should do. Be happy and praise the Lord your God, because He is about to give you your heart’s desires. Yes that’s right! This is not a misprint!

When we rejoice and give praise to the Lord, He will move mountains for us! You see, God in His mercy wants His children to be strong in their faith, and to reclaim what is rightfully theirs. This act of faith, tells our Father in heaven that we know and understand that He is in control of our situation, and that we believe that He is about to deliver us to our blessings.

It also sends the devil and his cohorts packing. It is written in Philippians 4:4 NKJV “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Notice that is says always. We are being told to rejoice always. Not only when things are going right for you, but always. Even, despite the troubles you may have for this will enable the Lord to do His work for you, so that you will have that new car, that promotion, that new job, that baby, that happy marriage, or whatever it is that you’ve been praying for.

Surrender all your troubles to the Lord, and He will come through for you. He wants to see you joyful and happy. He wants you to go through life enjoying the many miracles He has prepared for you. Psalm 68:3 NKJV says “But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.”

God wants us to rejoice exceedingly! Not just a little bit every now and then, but exceedingly! Another word for exceedingly is excessively. That means a lot! Get the picture? God knows something we don’t know, and that is all the wonderful possibilities that He is lining up for us in His grace! If only we could see beyond that curtain, we wouldn’t be able to believe our eyes! We’d be out singing and dancing in the streets!

These possibilities become ours when we surrender to the truth and let our God be the God that is promised to us throughout the Bible. Psalm 118:24 NLT says “This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” We certainly do have a lot to rejoice about, that’s for sure. I bet if you look back on your life, you would see the many blessings He has already given you. Even the things that perhaps seemed like problems to you, eventually all turned out for the best, even though at the time you couldn’t see it.

The Lord knows what is best for His children, and we must trust Him implicitly with our very lives. Psalm 33:21 NKJV says “For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.” Our Lord would love nothing more than to see us all singing and dancing out in the streets right now and giving praise to His holy name!

If you’re a parent reading this, then you would know how happy your heart is when you see your children being joyful! It makes your heart sing with joy! Imagine then, how happy our Father in heaven is when He sees us rejoicing simply because we love Him and trust that He has got everything sorted! It is written in Psalm 33:1 NKJV “Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.” Amen!

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe gifted me with these words today.

PS One more thing, a merry heart not only cheers our Father in heaven, it serves to create a buffer around you so that when things seem to go wrong, you are better equipped to walk through your days with a smile on your face and trusting the Lord. Proverbs 15:13 NKJV says “But he who is of a merry heart has a continual feast.” Praise the Lord! Amen.

Forgiveness Of Sins

When praying in the mighty name of Jesus, we must always ask for the forgiveness of our sins. This opens the door to many opportunities for us to come to terms with whatever is going on in our lives. It gives us the opportunity to understand that many of our difficulties have come upon us as a result of sin. Be that as it may, the Lord is always willing to forgive us and wipe the slate clean.

Do not take this lightly my friends, because what it means for us is total pardon for every transgression that we have ever committed! The Lord is our friend and saviour and He is willing and able to do this for us as we live according to His word; and because of His great love and mercy for all of mankind.

It is written in Hebrews 10:17 “I will not remember their sins and evil deeds any longer.” This means that we can approach God with a sure heart, knowing and trusting that we have indeed been purified from all of our sins. He will not remember them anymore! Wow! This is available to us today all because of what Jesus did for us on the cross.

He died so that we may be set free from sins. It says in Romans 3:24-25 “24 But by the free gift of God’s grace all are put right with him through Christ Jesus, who sets them free. 25 God offered him, so that by his blood he should become the means by which people’s sins are forgiven through their faith in him.” God’s love and forgiveness for us is such that we may become free of all the restraints of sin and the effects it can have on our lives.

If we only want goodness in our lives then we must face whatever is hindering us in our walk, and then submit it to the Lord. He will cover it with His blood and lay it at the foot of the cross. From this, we become sanctified thus enabling us to walk unhindered on the path that God has chosen for us. It is written in Romans 4:7-8 7 “Happy are those whose wrongs are forgiven, whose sins are pardoned! 8 Happy is the person whose sins the Lord will not keep account of!”

There are many who believe that we must not live by faith, and that we should only act upon what we see in the cold light of day. This is apparent in many lives of those who do not consider themselves worthy to receive God’s love and mercy. This is unfortunate for them as they will miss out on their true inheritance.

We are all worthy to receive God’s love, and it is given to us all freely. How? By our faith in the one who loves and protects us. Romans 8:31 says “If God is for us, who can be against us?” We know that God is for us by the many blessings we have already received. We know that God is for us by giving us the gift of His precious Son Jesus. And we know that God is for us by the great love and mercy He offers His people.

How do we obtain His mercy? By having faith in the one that supports us in our time of need. By trusting and believing in His written word and in all of His promises given to us in the Bible. We must be confident of His love for us and go to Him with all our prayers and requests. He knows what we need before we even ask Him. He knows you so intimately that He even knows how many hairs are on your head!

It is written in Hebrews 4:16 NKJV “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” He wants an intimate relationship with His children and He wants us to come to Him in our time of need, just like a child will go to their Earthly parents for help, love and support. So, when you do pray to your Father in Heaven, ask Him for forgiveness of your sins, and you will be able to step foot upon the path to life.....Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always, have gifted me with these words today. Amen

PS Jesus tells us that we must ask our Father in heaven to forgive our sins in the famous ‘Lord’s Prayer’ that is prayed in churches and homes everywhere across the globe today. Matthew 6:12 NLT “and forgive us our sins as we have forgiven those who sin against us.” Amen.

God's Will

The time will come in your Christian walk that you will be called upon to step out in faith and really take a stand believing for a miracle. It might be that you have a troubled marriage, or failing career, lack of financial resources, or perhaps difficulty falling pregnant or even some serious health issue, and you will be required to stand firm in your faith, believing God for His mercy and healing.

There are many promises in the Bible to help and protect you in such times as these. All you need do is to claim them. Sounds simple and easy doesn’t’ it? Not so you might say. When one is confronted with trials and tribulations it is very tempting to give in or simply give up. God does not want you to do this! He wants you to take the bull by the horns (pardon the pun!) and grab a hold of your rights! You need to be adamant that this healing does indeed belong to you because you are one of God’s dear ones. You need to get past all the worry and the fear, and all the ‘so-called’ facts and believe for what the world says is impossible.

Many people spend their lives complaining about their problems rather than doing something about them. They tend to believe only what they see and hear but the truth is that we need to believe in the unseen in order to be blessed. We need to have faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 NKJV says “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Faith is about believing in what we cannot see and trusting with our hearts and minds that we can have what God has promised for us. Hebrews 11:1 says “To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.”

When things seem out of control, you must rely on the promises of God to get you through. When believing for our healing, we need to find out what God says about a particular topic, and then apply it to our situation. We then must speak or confess God’s word over whatever is troubling us, and then affirm our faith by thanking God that He is looking after us. We must really believe that it is ours for the taking! Mark 11:24 TNIV says “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

When believing for healing in your troubled marriage, say, it is written in Matthew 19:6 TNIV “So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” When believing for success in your career, say, it is written in Deuteronomy 28:8 “The LORD your God will bless your work and fill your barns with grain.” When believing for financial abundance, say, the scripture says in Psalm 112:3 “His family will be wealthy and rich, and he will be prosperous for ever.” When believing for that pregnancy, say, the Bible says in Psalm 113:9 “He honours the childless wife in her home; he makes her happy by giving her children.” When believing for healing of sickness or infirmity, say, it is written in Psalm 103:3 “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”

These are just a few examples of the very many promises of God’s will for you. Believe me when I say that the Bible has many more. God’s word is there for us to study and declare for ourselves, in order that He may fulfil our destinies and His wonderful plans He has for us.

His promises are true, and his word in there to guide us through life. Psalm 119:105 says “Your word is a lamp to guide me and a light for my path.” God’s will for us is to live glorious and successful lives so that we may become a light for others on their paths. He wants us to be the example of what God’s will is for His children.

Be that example of truth for them. This is what is required of you in your walk of faith. Submit to His will by being the living proof that faith in God is indeed rewarded, and you will find yourself living the life of your dreams! What more could we ask for? Amen.

All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for guiding and instructing me with these words of truth. Amen

PS Isaiah 53:5 NKJV “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.” Healing is our right because Jesus paid the price for it when He was whipped and hung on that cross to die. So then, what are you waiting for? Claim it now for yourself and your loved ones! Amen!

Harmonious Living

In times such as these, one must rekindle in their hearts and minds, a passion for overcoming the burdens of living. Trials and tribulations are as natural as the day turning to night. It is said that in this life there will be many difficulties and that we must be of good cheer, giving thanks in all that we do, and for all that we have. With this frame of mind, we will be able to endure much suffering in the name of Christ our Lord and Saviour. It is written in 1 Peter 4:16 “However, if you suffer because you are a Christian, don’t be ashamed of it, but thank God that you bear Christ’s name!”

Many burdens can be lifted and carried away simply by casting them onto Jesus. Psalm 68:19 says “Praise the Lord, who carries our burdens day after day; he is the God who saves us.” When we do this, it gives Him permission to ease our troubles, and to even turn them around for our good. How’s that for easy living! He can turn discord into a harmonious melody that we simply could not imagine ourselves. 1 Corinthians 2:9 TNIV says ‘However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived – these things God has prepared for those who love him”.

When one gets into the habit of doing this with all their troubles, it creates a pattern of giving and receiving in our lives, kind of like a divine transaction if you may, and is worth more than all the gold in the world. It becomes a partnership between the human and the Divine.

Consider this: when trouble strikes, there is no panic, just a simple prayer of thanks offered up to the Lord, and then a release of the issue into the Lord’s very capable hands. Then wait for it – problem solved! Yes that’s right. Your problem will be solved.

Our Lord has the answers to every problem before the problem even occurs! It may not be resolved in quite the way you would like or perhaps not in the time frame that you would wish for; however, nonetheless it will be resolved according to His divine wisdom of what is required for the particular situation to become a blessing for you and for those around you. What a wonderful feeling knowing that we are being taken care of for all of our lives. Isaiah 46:4 says “I am your God and will take care of you until you are old and your hair is grey.”

Misfortune can be viewed as an attempt from the enemy to undermine all of the good you’ve got going in your lives. You see, the Devil doesn’t like it when you succeed and are happy. He would like nothing more than to sabotage your plans and the plans God has for you and your family. And it doesn’t stop there. He will fight against you to try and mess everything up.

When we ask Jesus to help and to even take over for us, this, in itself, puts a stop to Satan’s plans. He has no power against the mighty name of Jesus. When you commit your life to Jesus, you become His precious child. He has already paid for you by His blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary, and has chosen you before you were born, to be His. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:20 NKJV “For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.” This is good news isn’t it!

Don’t think that you won’t ever run into trouble because that is an inevitable part of living here in this broken world, but have faith that things can and will be put right by the one who loves you the most, and that is Jesus. You need not ever fear, because you’re not alone. He is always there at the ready, waiting for you to come to Him with whatever your heart desires. He is waiting for you to reach out to Him, giving to Him all your troubles. This promise is given to us in Matthew 7:7-8 NKJV 7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

Jesus is always there, walking with us, and even carrying us through the really tough situations. When you come out the other side, you will look back and think to yourself, ‘wow – how did I get here? I could not have done this alone!’ That’s because we are never alone. We always have our best friend Jesus with us, through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad, and He will see to it that you receive all that is intended for you and your family. All we need do is ask! Praise God! All glory goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe as always, have gifted me with these words today. Amen.

PS Psalm 95:6-7 6 “Come, let us bow down and worship him; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker! 7 “He is our God; we are the people he cares for, the flock for which he provides.” Amen!

These Final Days

We are coming into a time beyond all human history that we have never seen before on our planet. There is much mystery surrounding Biblical Prophecy of the so called End Times, and much propaganda too. If we are to live joyous lives amidst all the chaos, then we must rise above all the angst that is being created by television and the media. Everywhere we turn, we see broadcasts of this or that happening somewhere in the world. There is so much negativity out there it is little wonder any of us can get any sleep! And yet, with so little said about the many wonderful things going on here today, one wonders what there is to be joyous about!

The news has a way of bringing hysteria into our homes. We must at all costs, keep a positive outlook in these troubled times. If we must watch the news, we must try to remember that these things going on all around us seem magnified to the point of giving us the illusion that it’s all happening right here in our own backyards! The world is a big place, and these happenings are all brought into our homes today courtesy of a big square box.

There are many claims out there that we are approaching the prophesied End Times. This is a very controversial subject and one that we are not to take lightly. There is much work to do to help bring home all of God’s children. We need to realise that our efforts must be directed at spreading the gospel and at restoring people’s faith in the one man that can save them, and that is Jesus Christ. He came that we may have life! John 10:10 says “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” We need to help set people free from their bondage and their commonly mistaken beliefs held about life after death. You’d be surprised at how many people don’t even believe there is a place called Hell. They think it’s all a big scare tactic to get Christians to behave themselves.

The fact is, Hell is mentioned throughout the Bible in various scriptures, such as in Matthew 5:22 “......you will be in danger of going to the fire of hell.”, also in Matthew 18:9 “......”and be thrown into the fire of hell.”, and again in Matthew 25:41 “Away to the eternal fire which has been prepared for the Devil and his angels!” These are just three scriptures and of course there are others located again in Matthew, and in Jude, Isaiah, Luke, Proverbs, in the Psalms and of course in Revelation.

We need to get the message out there that God loves us. That is the most important message of today. If we can help people come to know and experience this truth for themselves, then we are well on the way to helping to save souls. One more soul for God means one less for the Devil. So when you are faced with the choice to bring about positive change in your environment – choose life. Choose to be a shining example of what God’s love is all about. Matthew 5:15-16 says 15 “No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Don’t worry so much about how much time we have left to do this – let God be God and let Him deal with it. If we spend our lives worrying about when, or if, then we will be wasting our opportunity to bring forth God’s message of love. I’m not saying that shouldn’t be prepared. The Bible says that we should be ready. It is written in Matthew 24:44 “So then, you also must always be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you are not expecting him.”

Of course there are many signs of the End Times given to us as warnings. The disciples asked Jesus when all this will be, and what will happen to show that it is the time for His coming and the end of the age. Matthew 24:7 7 “Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be famines and earthquakes everywhere. 8 All these things are like the first pains of childbirth.”

But if we spend our time trying to assess everything then we could miss our opportunity to help bring home souls. By all means, watch the television, but try to keep on solid ground, and keep a positive perspective. These could well be the final days. So let’s not waste them worrying and speculating. Let’s do our job that has been assigned to us. Walk in the truth, displaying a clear message of hope, faith and the love of God in a time where it is needed more than anything else. Share this message with everyone you know and get them on board. Let’s do it! Amen.

All glory for these writings goes to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe gifted me with these words for you today.

PS I believe these are anointed words. They come not from me but from the one who knows.....Amen.

What Is Heaven Like?

Some people believe that Heaven is our reward for our good behaviour on Earth. Anyone who knows anything about Christianity wants to 'go to Heaven' when their lives on Earth are complete. There have been many accounts of what Heaven is like, and let's face it; wouldn't we all love to know?

A select few have had what is known as "Near Death Experiences' and have given very detailed descriptions of what or whom they have encountered on the 'other side'. There are many stories of people who have been on the brink of death so to speak, and have come back telling their fascinating stories. Most of us however, will not have that kind of opportunity; we will have to wait until it is 'our time' when we come to the end of our life here.

The Bible tells us that in order to 'get into Heaven', we must receive our Salvation - we need to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:9 says "If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved." What are we being saved from? We are being saved from spending an eternity in Hell. Praise God!

A lot of people, some of them Christians, believe that because they are nice people and because they do good things like donating money to charities, helping the needy and are kind to their families and neighbours, that this is their 'ticket' to Heaven. Whilst it is very admirable to do good deeds for our fellow humans, this alone is not enough to guarantee our salvation. Ephesians 2:8 states "For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it."

It is true that as Christians, we have a certain moral code of conduct to live by, and certainly God loves it when we do kind and noble deeds, however, it is by our faith and our acceptance and love of our Lord Jesus Christ as our saviour that we shall be given eternal life.

Salvation is available for all. It is written in Romans 10:13 TNIV "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." That includes you and me! What a wondrous opportunity we are being given!

So what is Heaven like? As mentioned earlier, there have been many descriptions from people whom have crossed over and been shown glimpses. At the moment of death, there seems to be a common experience, that of either seeing a brilliant light, of course beyond any earthly comprehension, and then of loved ones coming to greet the person into Heaven. Some have even experienced waiting outside the pearly gates.

It is written in Genesis 28:17 NKJV 'And he was afraid and said, "this is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!" This was after a dream Jacob had in which the Lord was telling him all about the very many descendants he will be given. Genesis 28:12 NKJV says "then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it."

People have also been documented to have experienced seeing the most vividly beautiful and dazzling colours; colours that we don't even experience here on Earth!

Some have experienced a complete and utter joy unparalleled to anything they have experienced on Earth even in their happiest moments. People recount having seen their loved ones, who were very sick, renewed with healthy and youthful bodies. It is written in Philippians 3:20-21 NKJV "for our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself."

Some people have experienced hearing glorious heavenly music and sounds of continual joyous praise and worship for God the Father! Revelations 5:11-12 NLT says 'then I looked again, and I heard the voices of thousands and millions of angels around the throne and of the living beings and the elders. And they sang in a mighty chorus: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered - to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.' Sounds like one great big celebration doesn't it?

Jesus, when he was dying on the Cross, described Heaven as 'Paradise' to one on the criminals who was also dying alongside of Him. Luke 23:43 says 'And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

Some very fortunate people have even been allowed to experience Heaven inside the pearly gates and have described beautiful scenery, cities and riches beyond belief, and even of meeting Jesus Himself, however, it is not for the scope of this text to go into it here.

Whilst we don't know what it is to be given the opportunity to see Heaven, these claims are all about seeing for yourself the beauty and the joy of living on Earth with the promise of a future place in Eternity. God's love will see to it. All you need do is to commit now to a life with Jesus and you will find all the treasures you need for this life and into the next. This is my promise to you. Amen.

PS  One final thing, if the truth be told about how it is to be for you when you go to Heaven, you would want it now! There is much to be enjoyed in this place called Heaven - unending peace, freedom from all pain, suffering and sorrow, an absolute understanding of what it is to be loved in totality, and an experience of complete and utter bliss and joy that is unfathomable. This is what Heaven is like! Amen.

Glory be to the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, whom I believe have gifted me with these words for you today. Amen and Amen!

I Am The Lord Your God!

Exalt Him above all else and the Kingdom shall become yours. It is written in Psalm 113:1-3 "You servants of the LORD, praise his name! May his name be praised, now and for ever. From the east to the west Praise the name of the LORD!" In this temporal place called Earth, there are many trials and tribulations one must face. It is part and parcel of living here. John 16:33 NKJV says that "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

If we are to receive the Kingdom on Earth, then we must offer up praise and thanksgiving no matter what is going on around us. We must give thanks for our lives, our circumstances and for everyone around us. This is God's will for us.

We are to give thanks, not only when things seem great, but when trouble strikes and threatens to take away our happiness and peace of mind. It is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Be joyful always, pray at all times, be thankful in all circumstances. This is what God wants from you in your life in union with Christ Jesus." If we do this, even when it doesn't seem right or even logical, then we are claiming that the Lord is our God and He is then able to act on our behalf and deliver us from whatever is transpiring in our lives.

We must also guard our tongues with great care, and speak forth only that which we wish to experience. It is written in Proverbs 18:20-21 NKJV "A man's stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who live it will eat its fruit."

When you find in life that certain things keep happening over and over again, one must ask 'why is this so?' Could it be because we are receiving exactly what we are speaking? If the power of life and death are in the tongue, then we must use if for our good. We must use it to speak forth life. We must use it to speak forth joy and so on.

The entire Universe was created by God. With His spoken word, He created the Earth. You only have to read Genesis in the Bible to discover how this was done. God spoke everything into existence with his commands. Genesis 1:3 NKJV says 'Then God said, "Let there be light", and then there was light.'

We all want to experience Heaven on Earth. The Bible says that we are made in His image. Genesis 1:27 NKJV says "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." So then, if we are made in His image, then we too can utilise His word and bring things into being by speaking them into our lives and situations. When we declare something positive and good with our mouths, we are giving force to the promises that God has for all of His children.

The power of His word is available to us all. Hebrews 4:12 says "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." When we activate His word with our voices, there is no limit to what can be achieved. His word is alive!

Just about every topic you can imagine is written about in the Bible. He has got it all covered! We are to use it for the betterment of our families, our relationships, our businessess, our churches, and even for our nations. That's why prayer is very powerful. When we speak forth the written word of God and claim the promises from within the Bible, God will act upon them. After all, He has set them there for us to use as guidelines on how and what we should pray for. How about that for taking care of His flock!

John 15:7 NKJV says "If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." God is faithful. He will faithfully carry out His plans for you and for all of His chldren for all eternity. When we seek to please Him above all else, and when we seek to do the will of God, the Kingdom shall be ours, and we will experience Heaven on Earth. Matthew 6:33 says "but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Praise His might name! Amen.

PS  We have a lot to be thankful for don't we! Psalm 100:5 says "The LORD is good; his love is eternal and his faithfulness lasts for ever." Praise God!

Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe have gifted me with these words for you today. Amen.

God's Love

God's love is eternal. We see God's love for us every day, with each sunrise, with the flowers in bloom, and in the very air that we breathe. With God's love you can move mountains! In the Bible, it says that we can speak to that mountain in our life and it will move out of our way! Mark 11:23 NKJV says "For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." How about that for God's love!

God can and will move that mountain for us when we speak these words over whatever is troubling us and blocking our way to receiving all of the wonderful gifts that we are purposed to have. All we need to do is to have the faith that this is indeed true.

Faith is believing in the unseen. Hebrews 11:1 says "To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see." Verse 6 goes on to say "No one can please God without faith, for whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him." You see, God wants us to believe that He will indeed reward us for seeking Him.

He wants us to have the faith that what we ask for we shall receive. Matthew 7:7 says "Ask, and you will receive; seek, and you will feind; knock, and the door will be opened to you." When things seem almost unbearable, with no way of knowing which way to turn, how about you claim this promise for yourself. Speak these words of truth then watch for the turnaround in your life. You will begin to see, little by little, all the things you hoped for unfolding before your very eyes.

Trust and you will begin to see changes. Things will begin to open up for you like never before. God wants us to be happy! He wants us to live joyous and fulfilling lives! He wants to flood our lives with miracles! At times it is hard to believe in this truth because we live in a broken world, and the world would have us believe that certain things are unachievable or impossible. I'm here to tell you now that if we listen to the world and all its claims then we will never get to live the glorious life that God has planned for His children.

We must rise above the calamity and claim our birthright! We must trust that the mighty hand of God is with us, leading the way. He will make our paths straight. Isaiah 26:7 says, "LORD, you make the path smooth for good people; the road they travel is level."

On the one hand, you've got the ordinary existence, dictated by worldly standards and expectations, and on the other, you've got the 'ordained life', gifted to us by God. It's just a matter of choosing what you would rather. Believe in God and you will see miracles. It is that simple.

Put your faith in Him and you will experience His loving arms around you and His gentle touch guiding you. Trust in Him and your life will be transformed. Not only will you experience God's love, but so will all the others around you. He will touch their lives through you.

They will see for themselves what it means to be loved by God. They will see it in your face, in your eyes, in the words you speak, and in the kindness that you show. They will see it in all the successes and blessings you have received. The blessings will flow into your life and then outwards to others. This, my friend is the love of God! Amen.

PS  God love you so much that He gave His Son Jesus to die for you that you may have life. Think about that one.....John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Amen.

Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit whom I believe gifted me with these words today. Amen.

Who You Are In Christ

Please note, this next insight is written as though Jesus himself is talking to you. This is how I received the text, as follows:

The next topic for discussion is all about 'who you are in Christ.' Many people fail to realise that it is I who lives in you, and therefore it is I that must rule in your hearts at all times. Galations 2:20 says "so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me." It is through My unfailing love for you that we walk together hand in hand, one foot after the other, traversing rugged mountain ranges and very high cliff tops, all the while noticing the many miracles and wonderful scenery along the way.

It is only when you lose trust in Me that I cannot connect you with the many blessings that are in store for My Children. It takes courage and dedication to remain firm in your trust and faith. It is no easy task for the human being with all its frailties and weaknesses, however, all I ask is for you to trust Me with a childlike trust that all will be provided for, and that all of your needs will be met.

Put your faith in Me the way a baby trusts its mother to take care of them. Matthew 6:26 says "Look at the birds; they do not plant seeds, gather a harvest and put it in barns; yet your Father in heaven takes care of them! Aren't you worth much more than birds?"

It's very easy to get caught up in the demands of living that you tend to forget who you are. Striving for fulfilment in the outside world can leave you feeling battered and torn with an emptiness that can only be filled by Me. This is how I designed you to be, so that you would turn to Me for your fulfilment and needs, and so that you and I would live in close communion each day.

This is how your faith grows - by coming to Me for everything your heart desires and giving all your cares and burdens to Me. Psalm 68:19 says "Praise the Lord, who carries our burdens day after day." When one learns to do this on a daily basis, one can then begin to experience My power and grace flowing not only to you, but also through you and out to others.

This is how they see Me - through you. Then you can become a blessing to the world, and an example of how one should live a life in Christ. All areas in your life begin to change rapidly. People in your life begin to see the changes in you. They see branches bearing fruit where once there were none. Psalm 1:3 says "They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do not dry up. They succeed in everything they do."

When one commits to this new way of living, then one can truly begin to receive their inheritance, with all the many blessings arriving on their doorstep! Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? Believe it because it's true. These are among the many promises I give to you. You only have to read the Bible to see promise after promise for My followers. Hebrews 10:23 NKJV states "He who promised is faithful."

Let me begin to transform your life. Commit now to a life with Me in your heart and by your side, and you will be amazed at the wondrous blessings that I will bestow upon thee. And when someone asks you 'what it is you have been doing to achieve such success,' you can then tell them "it is no longer I who live, but it is christ who lives in Me." Amen.

PS  These words today have been written as though our Lord is speaking through me to you. This is how they 'came to me', and I believe that I have transcribed them perfectly as the Lord intended. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, son and Holy Spirit as always. Amen.

Faith in Miracles

Though many in life may not come to understand the full meaning of what it is to be led by Jesus, nonetheless His love is available for all. For those who truly seek Him there are treasures available beyond compare. It is written in John 8:12 "Whoever follows me will have the light of life and will never walk in darkness."

Those who give their life over to Him will experience pure joy and will be led on a journey of miracles and healing. When you submit your life to Him in full, He is able then to turn your life around. To really get the most out of this walk, you must have faith in His ability to provide for you. Philippians 4:19 "And with all his abundant wealth through Christ Jesus, my God will supply all your needs."

Knowing this will help us to understand that a life in Christ certainly has its benefits, that's for sure. He wants us to be happy. He wants us to experience a life of blessings and abundance. He wants to put us in a position where we can be a blessing for others.

When others look upon the life we are living in Him, we will be a shining example that when we put our faith and trust in the Lord, everything we do will be blessed. With that you may say, that even the most diligent of followers do not always experience the true joy in knowing and trusting in God's provision. The reason being is a lack of knowledge on their part, of the many wonderful promises given to us in the Bible.

There are promises for good health and healing, wealth and abundance, joy and peace of mind, blessings upon our family life, marriages and relationships, and success in whatever work we do with our hands.

We need to access these truths by reading about them in God's word, and then claiming what is rightfully ours. It is written in Jeremiah 29:11 "I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for."

We must stake our claim, otherwise we might miss out! The Devil is going to try to stop you from receiving all your blessings. He knows what you're entitled to as a child of God, and will stop at nothing to deceive you into thinking that you're not worthy or deserving of God's favour.

Lots of people go through life never achieving everything that God has laid out before them because they allow the enemy to thwart them at every turn. As God's precious children, we have authority over the Devil by using the name of Jesus. Just the mere mention of the name 'Jesus', and Satan and his demons will flee.It is our right to exercise this authority for our protection and for us to receive what God has planned and promised for His children.

Too many people don't realise that they may well be giving away their blessings to the enemy. When this happens they stagnate, and things go wrong all around them before they realise that everything is spiralling out of control. Take back that control now! James 4:7 NKJV states, "Resist the Devil and he will flee from you." Use the mighty name of Jesus and claim what is yours. Take back your inheritance! Say 'in the name of Jesus, take your hands of me and my family, Satan, we belong to God.' Watch what happens next! Then enjoy the journey.....

PS  1 Peter 5:8-9 says "Be alert, watch out! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Be firm in your faith and resist him, because you know that other believers in all the world are going through the same kind of sufferings." How do we resist the Devil you might ask? We resist the Devil by standing firm in our faith in God and in our faith that His promises hold true. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit for these words richly given here today. Amen.
